About the adventure
# **The Argent Guild** ### *Glory Awaits Beyond the Next Door* Every legend has a beginning. Some begin as dragonslayers. Others as kings, prophets, or chosen heroes. Yours begins with a guild application. Welcome to **The Argent Guild**, an adventuring guild unlike any other. Nestled within **Sigil, the City of Doors**, the Guild serves as a gathering place for explorers, mercenaries, scholars, monster hunters, and would-be heroes from across the planes. From its halls, countless portals lead to worlds beyond imagining, each opening the way to dangerous contracts, forgotten ruins, political intrigue, and threats that span the multiverse itself. As new recruits, you will enter the Guild at its lowest rank. Your first assignments may seem humble—escort caravans, investigate disappearances, clear out monsters—but every completed contract earns renown, influence, and the opportunity to undertake ever more dangerous missions. With time, your names may become known not only throughout Sigil, but across entire worlds. The multiverse is vast, ancient, and filled with mysteries long thought to be myths. Forgotten civilizations, primordial beings, impossible artifacts, and creatures whispered about only in stories await those brave enough to seek them. Some legends are waiting to be rediscovered. Others are waiting to be challenged. This campaign follows your rise through the ranks of **The Argent Guild**, from inexperienced adventurers to figures whose deeds echo across the planes. The choices you make, the allies you forge, and the enemies you create will shape not only your own stories, but the fate of worlds connected by the infinite Doors of Sigil. ### Rules This campaign will use the **Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (2014)** ruleset as its foundation. In addition, a small collection of carefully selected homebrew rules will be used to improve quality of life, streamline gameplay, and enhance the overall player experience. These adjustments are designed to preserve the spirit and balance of the 2014 rules while reducing unnecessary friction during play. A complete list of these house rules is provided down below and before the campaign begins so that everyone starts with the same expectations. ## Adventure Awaits The Argent Guild is always hiring. The next contract has just been posted. All that's missing... is your name beneath it.

About me
Greetings and salutations everyone! I have been interested in D&D almost my entire life even if I didn't realise I was doing just that. Since I was very young I used to create this fantastical stories in my head and play in them in my imagination. Later in my years decided to give it a shot at writting those adventures I used to go in my mind and put in pen and paper. That led me on an incredible journey of discovering Roleplay as a whole new world and what it had to offer. From there I discored Dungeons and Dragons that facilitated bringing to reality my worlds and adventures that I used to create. After years of reading through books and creating my own adventures, found that I could play online with people all over the world and with COVID hitting hard and locking us all in in our houses, I gave online DND a go and fell even more in love with it! Accompany me in a journey where I want to facilitate you be the best version of your character and bring their full potential to reality! I love Roleplay and bringing live to the worlds my players are, so they have this sensation they are living there instead of being a frozen world that only activates when they are present at a location. Combat in D&D can be very grindy I love it and have found ways to make it more fun and itneractive with epic descriptions of your characters slaying mythical beasts or saving the day (or destroying it if that's what the campaign is aiming at :) ). Come and join me in an incredible adventure beyond reality where I have been GMing professional a little over 2 years now, but been preparing for this job my whole life.

Creating your character
A full free session 0 will happen before starting the game where we will go through character creation, and all the necessary questions you might have about the campaign!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players need a working mic with minimal noise and sound on the background for the best experience possible for everyone and access to a computer. The game will be held over discord for voice and roll20 for everything else, so you will need an account on both (both are free) I own almost all D&D5e books in Roll20 so you can use the charactermancer there. Homebrew will only be allowed case by case basis and to be approved by me prior to being used. Everything else we will take care of it during session 0. No prior experience required, veterans and new players accepted! If you are a new player I will help you in every possible step you need help with and help you understand and create as much of a fun experience for you as for the rest!
What Panzer GM brings to the table
A discord server where I host all of my games, you will have access to the general discord server + a private group of channels for text and voice where the group playing this campaign will have their own space to speak freely without spoiling anything to anyone else or other players spoiling you anything about this campaign. A Roll20 Pro account with thousands of hours of experience running games and oneshots most of them are High-Level which I have refined a style for. A non-boring and non-grinding experience that high level D&D can become. A backstory incorporation into the story. I love backstories and incorporating them into all of my games. Expect plot twists, breathtaking & emotional moments as well as epic scenes both happening in front of your eyes as well as your character being the protagonist of them!
Homebrew rules
House Rules that I use (this might be subject to change in the future, but shouldnt since i have been using them for all my GM life): Ammunition: if its not magical ammunition i dont track it, people being adventurers i think they would know to buy enough supplies in town every time you get there, unless i have something very specific of survival planned then i would let the players know to stock up and count everything as it will be important Food/Rations: same as ammunition Potions: Drink a potion is a Bonus Action Feed a potion to someone else is an Action Pass a potion hand to hand in combat is a Free Item Interaction on both ends Tossing a potion to someone in combat is a Free Item Interaction but requires a DEX check if they are 10ft or more apart from each other. Flanking: I use flanking but only with creatures of same size or smaller and maximum of 1 size larger for both allies. So if the 2 allies flanking 1 is small and the other medium and the enemy is Large, they cant flank, they both need to be at least medium to flank. If you go unconscious and get healed back from 0 Hit Points, during combat nothing happens as adrenaline is moving through your body, but when combat finishes, you gain 1 Level of Exhaustion per time you went unconscious. There is a change in the Fighter's Indomitable feature. You can use it as RAW, but I allow a second option which is: Instead of Re-Rolling the saving throw you can instead choose to add you Proficiency Bonus to that same roll, but it has be said before you know if you fail or pass.

How Panzer GM creates a safe table
I make sure to give everyone their moments on the spotlight to play their strengths and abilities. I like to run games where players are working together and creating this epic narration of their adventures across the whole campaign, but that doesn't mean there can't be friction between characters, you could like or dislike more or less an NPC. I use the victim system when it comes to PVP even if it's just stealing or deception and such. If the victim of the action is not comfortable with such action it can't happen. All drama or problems MUST stay IC and never become OOC and always through respect and being civil. I like to use Rule of Cool when necessary or giving enough freedom to the players to try to think outside the box. Normally I go as Rules as Written, but I'm more than happy to be asked about things that normally wouldn't work but if the player can try. This includes, creation of new spells, using abilities/spells in a weird way to overcome an obstacle, etc... I have some homebrew rules that you will be seeing when you join the discord, which comes after having a brief conversation with every potential player trying to join my campaign. If you can't attend a session it's okey, life happens and there are more important things to life than D&D, but I appreciate a 24h in advance notice when possible to let me know. If skipping of a session has happened more than attending the session I will speak with you and see if you can continue playing the campaign or if they can't. Also in SPG you need a 24h notice to skip a session without being charged automatically.
