About the adventure
The mists have claimed another group of unsuspecting travelers. About me
Aloha. I am a player and DM of ttpg's over the past twenty years. Experienced in crafting stories of lore, creating fun and exciting combat scenarios and I love awarding the right player that special magical item. A fan of fantasy novels, deep lore and world-building I aim to immerse myself and when as a DM, the players in a tale of adventure which embraces creativity, wonderment and fun. As both a player and DM I have experience running OSR, 3.5, 4th and 5th edition DND games and campaigns.

Creating your character
Our first meeting will be a session zero where we can work out character creations, party goals and relationships to the upcoming adventure. We will use the Dungeon & Dragons Beyond platform to roll up our stats and to customize our character choices.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
To ensure everything runs smoothly, please complete the following before Session zero or our first game: 1. Create a D&D Beyond account (free accounts work perfectly). Character creation and digital character sheets will be managed through our shared campaign. 2. Join the campaign. I'll send you an invitation link after you sign up. If you don't own the necessary books, I'll share the content through the campaign whenever possible. 3. Join the Discord server. Voice communication, announcements, scheduling and between session discussions will all take place on Discord. A quality microphone is highly recommended. 4. Character creation. Characters will begin at Level 1. We'll create characters together during Session zero or have a rough idea of what you would like to create prior to our session zero. 5. Come ready for adventure! No prior experience is required. Bring your imagination, a collaborative attitude and a willingness to roleplay alongside your fellow adventurers. Homebrew rules
I strive to make every session engaging, dramatic and memorable. While I generally follow the rules as written and I am always looking for moments to embrace the rule of cool and to reward creativity when it creates an exciting cinematic moment without disrupting game balance. Some of my favorite homebrew rules are: * Crit that crit * Inspo for exceptional roleplay which leads to an epic cinematic moment in game. * Secret death saves between me and the player only. * Lucky Stand (when dropped to 0 HP) character may decide to stand before falling unconscious on their next turn.
