About the adventure
Corps run the city, and the Net is just as terrible. Might as well make the most of it, right? It's not like the world is ending. Take what you can, give nothing back, and don't trust anyone. Except, you know, the scum of a party you put together. This game is for those familiar with the hilariously-dark tones of Mork Borg and its spin offs. Terrible things will happen to your character, but we get to laugh at their expense. Grimdark Monty Python. Explore a city that both gleams with chrome and stinks of rot. You could make millions of creds running a single job, or lose it all at the finish line with a knife in your back. OSR worldview, open to beginners and veterans alike. About me
Who has time for introductions, the room is on fire and monsters abound! Nice to meet you, I'm Danny, or Moose online! If I had a stat block, you'd find a laid-back guy who loves running games and seeing how the players will go off the rails. Ease of use and flexible approaches are how I shuffle and manage games. I owe a lot to the social aspect of TTRPGs; I'm thankful I get to meet so many inspiring people! GM since 2020, started with 5e and branched into too many systems to count. I favor OSR sensibilities, emergent gameplay, and rule of cool. Troika, Shadowdark, anything Into the Odd, and Mörk Borg are my favorite systems. Wildsea, Slugblaster, or anything weird and sci-fantasy are my favorite settings. What Mystic Moose brings to the table
I tend to play fast and loose and shoot from the hip. The players drive the narrative, pick which jobs and NPCs to interact with, and ultimately carve their own fate as the city crushes them from above. I won't push music through VC, I know everyone has their own taste. Plenty of sick cyberpunk tunes out there. I'll prepare a map of the city, but largely adventures and adventure sites won't be mapped. Combat will likely be theater of the mind, for ease of use as well as flexible player interaction.
