About the adventure
"Werewolf: the Apocalypse" is set in the World of Darkness, a modern-day gothic-punk world much like our own where werewolves, vampires, ghosts, and more are all real. The games focus on storytelling, character development, and personal, environmental, and political horror. In Werewolf, you play the role of a Garou, a human or wolf who has or will soon be brought into the fight to save the Earth from the impending apocalypse. "Rage Across New Mexico" is a collection of multiple-ending campaigns with adventure, travel, and utter brutality in store. These are designed with new players in mind, with included opportunities within the main story to walk through and try out each of the key Werewolf the Apocalypse 5th Edition mechanics, including Rage, Frenzy, Harano and Hauglosk, Renown, and more, each worked into the story. Characters will have the opportunity to visit various locations, including multiple caerns, septs, cities, the Umbra, and other places set in the urban fantasy world of the Apocalypse. A variety of custom and canon NPCs will be available to meet and learn of Garou history through fully in-character means. See below for this Chronicle's exact location and timeline.

About me
👋 Hey! I'm Redmane (Red, Rae, Gabriel) — a professional World of Darkness Storyteller from the East Coast USA, now in Oklahoma. I've been fascinated by vampires, werewolves, and things that go bump in the night since childhood, which led me to studying WoD lore and collecting sourcebooks long before I ever ran a game online. My storytelling background stretches back eight years across play-by-post, MMO server events, LARP, and acting troupes before moving into online tabletop in 2021. What started as "I can't find a good WoD game, so I'll run one" turned into a full-time passion. Session fees go directly into maintaining the quality of your experience: Foundry VTT licensing, custom battle maps, licensed music and ambiance packs, professional Discord management, rulebook and supplement purchases, and reliable high-speed internet. Got a question? Want to see what the current party includes? Just message me! This is my full time job, and I have Startplaying open at all times, so I'll be able to get back to you quickly with an answer. Updated 04-15-26

Creating your character
World of Darkness games allow players to create their own monsters. Character sheets are created on Foundry, and use the basic character creation guideline from the WoD5 rulebooks. Players may choose a fitting Sea of Time option, and one Loresheet per character.
The life of a shapeshifter isn't all it's cracked up to be, sometimes. The word shapeshifter implies a level of freedom, anarchy, wild-ness. And yet because of that, there are plenty out there committed to stopping you, either for containment and research or simply to make sure you take your final form; roadkill. In "Rage across New Mexico: Manhunt", characters attempt to avoid such fates, but mistakes happen. One way or another, you were taken alive by a Pentex "First Team", and stuck in cages with others like you, and plenty that aren't. What is worse, they've been selling off those they're done with, and sending them to even worse fates in different locations throughout New Mexico. Once freed, you could just run for the hills and leave them all to suffer. Or, you can go on a manhunt. This is a Werewolf: the Apocalypse chronicle, and will be featuring themes, antagonists, locations, party mechanics, and supporting characters relative to Werewolf. As with all RAGE Games chronicles, other cross-splat playable options within reason exist upon request, which may include vampires, hunters, ghouls, mortals, other shapeshifters, fomori and other possessed, and changelings.
