About the adventure
Mage can be an intimidating game to learn, but that doesn't have to stop you from learning! Through this one shot experience, we will cover all the steps of making a character from coming up with a concept, stat selection, and long term goals that align with the World of Darkness Universe. In addition, you will learn about the lore and background necessary to understand what makes the game and the stories that unfold rich and nuanced. At the end of the session we will run through a mock scenario to test your new Mage understanding. Leaving you with all the skills necessary and the confidence to walk into your first real game.

About me
I am an experienced writer, teacher, and GM. I first played D&D at college and quickly became a part of a friend group that met up weekly to play D&D, Mage, and Pathfinder. After college, I both played and was the GM for games that met at the local gaming shop for about five years. When I started my career as a high school teacher, I gamified my classroom to be a D&D style rpg where my students could earn spells and level up in a world filled with lore and bosses they could defeat for rewards. Post teaching, I spent some time with an online group with that did recording for Youtube and I was the GM for one of the recorded D&D 5e campaigns. All in all, I've been playing for 20 years and been a GM for about 18 of those years.
