About the adventure

Within the heart of the capital city, the Grand Bank protected the riches of the world's most powerful and influential members by keeping everything safely inside a magical pocket labyrinth. Treasures beyond people's wildest dreams were stored inside the labyrinth's vaults and guarded by terrifying monsters that were trapped inside as well. Then one day, the labyrinth malfunctioned. The pocket-dimension unfolded, and the enormous dungeon engulfed the entire city, causing wide-spread panic as civilians tried to escape. Authorities have attempted to remedy the situation, managing both rescue mission and securing the vaults. Looters have dived into the labyrinth, plundering rare artifacts and immense wealth. This is where you come in. A wealthy benefactor has contracted your services to acquire an important artifact for them; a rare, unpublished tome concealed within the labyrinth. Any other treasure you come across is yours to keep, as long as the benefactor gets that book. Dive into the Great Labyrinth of Gold and liberate its treasures!

About me

Hi! I'm Ava and I've been passionately running Dungeons and Dragons since the 2020 Lockdown when my university friends were looking for something to do while indoors. Ever since then I've fallen in love with crafting worlds and stories, watching as my players have fun with their characters in moments that range from hilarious to heart-wrenching. In my years of DMing, I've played with both veterans of DnD and fresh beginners, ensuring that everyone is welcome at the table. In that time, I've also honed my skills in improvising roleplay and ensuring that each player gets their time in the spotlight. In my spare time, I also design battlemaps using Inkarnate that feature heavily in my homegames. I've DMed for two games that ran from level 1-20 over the course of 3 and a half years. For games that span a long time, I aim to incorporate player's backstories into the adventure, progressing their goals and development along the journey.

How Ava creates a safe table

Prior to the session I will provide players with a sheet of Lines and Veils marking hard limits on content that will not be in the game. Players can then let me know of any additional content they would like not to be in the game. I also have a 5-10 bio-break in the middle of session.
