About the adventure

Fifteen years ago, a meteor struck the city of Drakkenheim — once the jewel of the kingdom, now a smouldering ruin crawling with monsters, mutants, and the insidious violet glow of Delerium. Nobody goes in. Nobody comes back the same. And yet, here you are. This is a campaign of moral weight and impossible choices. You will navigate warring factions, uncover the secrets buried beneath a dead city, and ask yourself — again and again — whether the power you seek is worth the cost. There are no clean heroes in Drakkenheim. Only survivors. Expect atmospheric storytelling, meaningful consequences, and personal character arcs driven by your own backstory. Five factions compete for control of the ruins — the zealous Followers of the Falling Fire, the battle-worn Hooded Lanterns, the knowledge-hungry Amethyst Academy, the righteous Silver Order, and the cunning Queen of Thieves — and your allegiance will shape the story as much as your sword arm. Every choice has a cost. Every faction has a use for you. This table is built for players who want a story that takes them seriously. Your character's history matters here — personal quests are woven directly into the main arc, and the world reacts to what you do. Sessions are run on Foundry VTT, which handles maps, handouts, and mechanics seamlessly so you can stay focused on playing. All art and handouts are human-made. Your DM brings years of experience and a genuine passion for D&D and collaborative storytelling. - Full campaign, levels 1 through 13. - Open to all experience levels, including complete beginners. - Dark fantasy with eldritch horror themes. - Personal quests tied to your character's backstory. - Five competing factions with real political stakes. - Human-made handouts, maps, and original art. - Smooth, beginner-friendly play through Foundry VTT. - An experienced DM with a deep love for storytelling and the game. Lastly if you have anymore questions feel free to message me, till then may your dice roll true.

Safety

How Del creates a safe table

Creating a safe and enjoyable space for everyone at the table is one of my top priorities. Here’s how I ensure this: Deck of Safety: I use this card-based safety tool to help players signal comfort levels in the moment, ensuring everyone can enjoy the game without breaking immersion. Session Breaks: We take regular breaks in the middle of sessions to grab a snack, stretch, or just breathe—staying comfortable is key. Open-Door Policy: If something bothers you, I’m always available to talk privately and make adjustments to keep the game fun and safe. Player Check-Ins: I regularly check in with my players during and after sessions to ensure everyone is feeling good about the game. Zero Tolerance for Creep Behavior: The internet may not always be a safe space, but I strive to make my table a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
