About the adventure

These games are for the folks who aren't quite ready to commit to a campaign of a game they've heard about, or maybe you've got a random night off and you wanna get the old imagination station pumpin' again, or maybe you found me online and wanna try out my GMing style first, Whatever reason you might have-- these games are meant to entertain you for one night and one night only! ...I guess they could infiltrate your daydreams too, if you wanted...

About me

Two things to me that make a great community are food and stories, which are both brought and shared at a table. At my table, I want your hunger for curiosity and creativity to be satiated. My tables are also safe places, where all sorts of ideas are welcome. I want everyone to walk away feeling heard. However, I do not tolerate bigotry and prejudice at my table; any and all BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, Disabled/Chronically Ill, and Neurodivergent folx are welcome and encouraged at my table. Different and new perspectives bring rich stories. With a decade of TTRPG experience, over half that time in the GM's seat now, I consider myself to be a teacher and a student, willing to guide and willing to learn. My favorite systems are Monster of the Week, and I'm a big fan of running Play by Post games. I'm a Virgo/Libra cusp, a Trekkie, and have a dog and two cats.

Character creation

Creating your character

It depends on the game, but I'll provide materials so that everyone has an opportunity to come to the table with ideas that they'd like to share with the group! The best part about TTRPGs is building and sharing stories together after all.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

When coming to my table, you'll need to have a Discord account; this is free! From there, you'll join my server and get sorted into the appropriate channel so we can have a rock-n-roll time; in that channel, you'll find all the materials you'll need. Plus, then it's a little easier to chat with me.

What Urvy Fitz brings to the table

As the Game Master, I'll bring the game, of course!! I will provide PDFs for games and accessible materials, so everyone can learn. When necessary, I'll provide links to VTTs and share images for aesthetic purposes. In my Discord, we lean Rule of Cool (but we do reference the rules because, well, they're there for a reason!)

Safety

How Urvy Fitz creates a safe table

The content warnings list are just a general overview of topics I know typically get hinted at throughout games I've run over the past. However each separate game and one-shot will have its own set of warnings to go along with it. Also, I'll have you fill out a Lines/Veils sheet prior to the session, then there will be a debrief prior to gameplay to go over the sheet as well as any other concerns the table might have-- a mini-Session Zero, if you will.
