About the adventure
🏳🌈 LGBTQIA+ friendly! 👋 Beginner friendly! ❗ No AI-generated content allowed ----- You live in a peaceful, island town where things are as easygoing as the ocean breeze—that is, until one night a dying man stumbles into town, his body being rapidly consumed by an unnatural rust. Your town elder decides to visit the neighboring town to figure out what's going on. Will you join her and protect your home? In this adventure you will: 🗺️ Explore an ancient dungeon full of long-lost secrets ⚔️ Face off against demonic cultists and monsters of the dark ✨ Stop the demon of rust from awakening and save your home! There is also the possibility to continue this adventure into a larger campaign with Seven Dooms for Sandpoint (levels 4-12) but you do not need to commit to that now!

About me
Well met, adventurer! I'm Erika (she/her) and I hope to be your GM! I've been playing TTRPGs since 2015, and GMing since 2016. I have thousands of GM hours under my belt and a proven track record of reliability and consistency for the tables I run. I love being able to facilitate exploration of the world and character growth of the PCs at my table. Whether you're a character-driven storyteller or a combat strategist, I will create an environment where you will thrive. My tables are safe spaces. Bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated.

Creating your character
We will have a Session 0 where we can get to know each other and learn what types of characters everyone is interested in playing. If you are new to Pathfinder or TTRPGs in general, I will also walk you through creating your character. We will use the Gradual Ability Boosts variant rule. Other variant rules will be discussed and decided during Session 0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a microphone, a Discord account, and a computer that is capable of running Foundry VTT. You can test out Foundry here: https://demo.foundryvtt.com/join Foundry also has a Lightweight Client that you can install instead of accessing Foundry through your web browser, which may be less taxing on your computer. Using the Lightweight Client is not required—just another option at your disposal. The Foundry Lightweight Client can be downloaded here: https://foundry.ruleplaying.com/flc
What Erika brings to the table
You will be invited to my private Discord server where there will be a channel dedicated to the game for announcements and general chatting with your fellow players. Each player will also be given access to a private channel with only the GM and themselves to handle any private matters.
Homebrew rules
When rolling a hero point, if the new result is the same as the original, you may keep rolling until you get a new result. You may "call your shot" to use a hero point on a secret check. For example, "If I critically fail that Stealth roll, I will use a hero point." If a hero point is expended in this way, I will reroll for you privately, then let you know that your hero point has been used once we've moved on from the event.

How Erika creates a safe table
Each player will have their own private channel on the Discord server that is only accessible by themselves and me in case any private discussions need to be had. I am also available to talk over voice or video chat upon request. Each player will be required to complete an anonymous Lines and Veils form before beginning, which can be added to at any time. I have a module installed in Foundry that allows players to anonymously raise X, N, and O cards.
