About the adventure
Some are born with a mark upon their skin, unlike any other except one. Their match, their pair, their Markbound, bearing the exact same shape. No one knows exactly why, with only myths and legends to go by that claim either hopeful destiny or inevitable curse. Some even suggest they are mere coincidence with no meaning whatsoever. But now Markbound are disappearing, ancient records are vanishing, and strange forces search for those with marks. As secrets rise to the surface, you will uncover a mystery that reaches back to the dawn of history and question fate, identity, and the choices that define us. You are one of them, a Markbound. Whether that is a blessing or curse remains to be seen. What Lies Beneath is a JRPG-inspired game that those familiar with Final Fantasy or the Tales Of games will enjoy. About me
Hello all! I'm Amber, and I have been GMing for 7 years now! I fell in love with ttrpgs when I tried D&D 3.5e back in the day, and I returned to gaming with 5e and other various ttrpgs. It is my goal to introduce players to a multitude of ttrpgs so that they can find the game that they adore and return to time and again. How Amber creates a safe table
Session 0 will allow us to come up with a list of subjects to avoid or tread carefully through. If at any point a player is uncomfortable with a scenario, they are able to message digitally whether it is a complete stop, tread carefully, or if they are ready to proceed. This can be done anonymously if desired.
