About the adventure
In the dark future of the 2070s, the world lies decimated after the devastating events of a corporate war. Most of the planet's resources have been sucked dry, and all across the globe, humanity fights over the scraps... ...Deep in the heart of a war-torn US, the city of dreams herself, Night City, stands as a place of constant violence, depravity and danger. Every day, the average worker drags themselves to slave away for their corporate overlords, hoping not to be caught in the daily firefights between gangs or Night City police. Night City is dangerous, sure... but where there is danger, there is opportunity for those brave enough or stupid enough to run that line between a civilian and a criminal. In the dark future, these Edgerunners, or 'Cyberpunks,' live a life of constant danger, where higher stakes mean greater rewards and greater reputation. The city is full of opportunity, and the city only plays by one rule: In Night City, there is no such thing as a living legend... Will you live the quiet life, or risk it all on the edge? Welcome to Night City, choomba! Hope you've brought some iron. ------ Cyberpunk - Legends of Night City is an open-ended TTRPG set in the 2077s in the world of Cyberpunk. Players can create their edgerunner and explore an open-ended sandbox, taking jobs, gaining reputation, or simply hopping from bar to bar. My goal is to provide an open-ended campaign that can last anywhere between a few sessions to a full, long-running chronicle that takes players to the maximum level. Creating your character
If you are a new player, I will need your character's name, backstory, preferred role (class), preferred weapon, and whether or not you want to begin the game with cyberware. Leave all of the numbers to me! Trust me, this is a game where it's best if you use a template for your first character. There are a LOT of statistics to go through. If you are an experienced player, we can walk through character creation together, or you can create your character and let me look over them when you are done.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Download Discord, and create a Roll20 account (It's free!) Create a backstory for your character, and send me the artwork you would like to use for their token. If you are new to Cyberpunk, you can wait a few sessions before creating a backstory if you would like to get acquainted with the world first.

I have the Rulebook and the Black Chrome expansion. If you need anything from either book, let me know!
Homebrew rules
-Light melee weapons ignore ALL armour instead of half armour. -Luck can be spent after seeing the result of a roll, instead of before. -Poor quality weapons break on critical failures, standard quality weapons jam, and premium quality weapons are unaffected. -Drivers can use Control skills to dodge bullets or aid passenger attacks while controlling a vehicle -Supress has been reworked to be able to cause damage, rather than simply force a target to take cover. -We will be using the Edgerunner weapon expansion, which introduces power, tech and smart weapons.

How Venerable Dragonling creates a safe table
There will be a safety deck in the Roll20 that I will show players how to use. Lines and veils will be utilized. If you need me to describe a scene vaguely, let me know. If you need me to stop, you can ask me to 'cut to black.' If you need to leave the game, the door is open. If you aren't enjoying the game or don't feel safe, you may go, and we can discuss a refund at a later date. -The theme of sexual assault is always banned at my table, no matter how much it may make sense in the setting. -Play any gender you prefer; there will not be any sexism from the GM-controlled characters.
