About the adventure

Setting: Vallenhime A land as shifting as the sea itself. Kingdoms and leaders rise and fall like violent waves thrashing in a storm, empty battlefields overtaken by nature just to be burnt back down to ash. This violent truth of Vallenhime takes root deep within the very cosmology of this world. Mordival, Son of The Creator, and God of Vallenheim, was Slain by mortal men and in his final breath, enacted divine punishment on the realm. Betrayal and malice itself injected into the fabrics of reality causing an infected poisoned land to fester and rot into a vicious cycle of war and greed. Monsters rise from evils of the past. Emotions like embers catching fire and roaring, spreading until it destroys all. The defense against the curse lies in the hearts of those willing to stand for good and protect those who can't themselves. In lands as despondent as these it takes a beacon of light to break the shroud of darkness to bring hope to others lost in its haze. These heroes exist, fighting for a better world. What to expect: This is a roleplay heavy, Dark Fantasy, mystery campaign. I wrote this campaign inspired by titles like, "Elden Ring" and "Bloodborne". If you enjoy titles like those than this is the campaign for you. I love integrating your original characters into the story so if you like creating characters with complex backstory's than this is also the game for you.

Character creation

Creating your character

I offer a free session zero where everything will take place. As far as 3rd party content I am very lenient on what you can use. I like seeing whatever Ideas you bring to the table. So as long as I review it it's ok to use.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

All you need is to be prepared to join a discord server.

What DM Drew brings to the table

As a DM I am very "go with the flow", "rule of cool" style of play. I love doing voices and playing immersive music. The gameplay itself will be a roleplay heavy game with a healthy dose of fun and interesting combat! I also completely homebrew the setting from scratch so I can seamlessly add your characters backstory to the story.

Homebrew rules

I am a rule of cool DM so I'm pretty loose with some of the rules but here are some specific modifications I like to use. 1, Max Crits: On a critical hit the base damage will be maximized and the bonus damage will be rolled. 2, Potion: When you use a heath potion as an Action you get the maximum amount of hp. When you use a potion as a Bonus Action you roll for the hit points.
