About the adventure
The classic Horror module for DND, this is a heavy RP campaign with *some* homebrewed features, so there are unexpected twists, even if you've played before. We are friendly to beginners and veterans alike, and try to mimic an in-person experience. Curse of Strahd is a gothic horror focussed on vampires, werewolves and other unnatural creatures. Players must be 18+ as there is likely to be strong language and graphic violence. We play on Discord, videos and costumes encouraged. VTTs used for encounters only. All you need is a character sheet, dice (or a dice simulator) and Discord.

About me
I'm Anton. I'm in my 40s, and I've been storyteller all my life. I came to role play about 2015 in the form of LARPing, though I found most of the systems are quite hard to get any plot to yourself unless you're friends with the games team, so when I came to TTRPGs during lockdown I fell in love immediately. I've been playing about 5 years and DMing for about 4, and have even started voice acting off the back of my TTRPG experience. It only makes sense to start running games professionally. I am very much on the side of Rule of Cool and RP heavy games, though I like to throw in plenty of combat too, and hopefully, make my combat a little less straightforward than usual. I like to be the architect of my worlds, so expect home brew settings, and maybe some rules borrowed from other games or 3rd party material, but everything we use is available to view on the discord. I like to stay organised. Most of all, I want you to have fun, and get a little lost in my world.

Creating your character
Create your characters however you want. I will want to see a copy of the character sheet before we start playing though. New players, I require a meeting before we play to help you build your character. We start at level 1. I allow all official classes and subclasses. I will allow 3rd party content pending approval.

What Anton brings to the table
I am an experienced DM with about 5 years experience. Yes, I'm one of those "theatre kids" so expect immersive role play, some improvised content, and lots of memorable character voices. I also make use of mood music and lighting, provide maps, puzzles, and modified encounters.

How Anton creates a safe table
I do a 5 minute session zero before every session. I ask people to private message me any hard/soft lines. We also talk about character development in session zero. After a session I will run starts and wishes to check what people liked and disliked, and always reiterate that people can message me with any issues or problems, including feedback about myself.
