About the adventure

The arid lands of western Breland rush past the window of your carriage, speeding you onwards towards the promise and riches of the up-and-coming town of Quickstone. The floor gently sways as the carriage floats above its rail of stone conductors, and lightning snaps and crackles over the roof and windows outside. Each of you sits on a crate or box inside a freight car located behind the catering car. These ‘seats’ serve as benches that allow the freight car to transport people in addition to freight.

About me

I am a certified Art Teacher with an English Speakers of Other Languages endorsement as well as a Masters in Fine Arts. My 10 years of experience as a Game Master has ignited my drive to support the stories of players from around the world. My background as an artist allows for opportunities to create and incorporate custom artwork into my games and my career as a teacher has provided me with the patience, flexibility and tactfulness to manage groups effectively. I serve on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Improvement Team at the school that I work at and all my games are a safe space for LGBTQI+ players.

Character creation

Creating your character

The first session will start with a check in addressing any questions or concerns players may have about their characters and then we will start our campaign during the second part of the first session. Create a level 1 character in the Eberron setting through DnDBeyond or Roll20. Feel free to use any materials at your disposal for character creation.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

We will use Discord and Roll20(with the Beyond20 extension to use your DnDBeyond-made characters)

What Tyler brings to the table

This is a published module from Imogen Gingell. All content from the publication will be used and I will be adding music for our sessions. You can expect to be rewarded for unique choices with Heroic Inspiration! I lean heavily on the Rule of Cool for my games and tend to me more on the Rules-Light spectrum of mechanics as a way of streamlining combat and creating a more fluid experience in game.

Homebrew rules

For critical hits I incorporate weapons dealing maximum damage on the first set of dice, plus a second standard roll of the dice, plus modifiers.

How Tyler creates a safe table

I incorporate safety cards into my games and always have an open door policy. I encourage players to direct message me with any triggers or things they would like to keep out of the games we run.
