About the adventure
Dragonbane is a classic fantasy tabletop roleplaying game full of magic, mystery, and adventure. It is designed from the ground up to facilitate fast and furious play. Dragonbane is a game with room for laughs at the table, while still offering brutal challenges for the adventurers. The game is skill based, there are no levels. You are free to explore to your characters limits and perhaps beyond. The world of Dragonbane is a dangerous place. Character death and long term injury are possible. On the other hand, you can play a Mallard (Duck kin) or a Wolfkin. This learn to play campaign has eleven different adventures. You can do all but one in any order. It's really got room for exploration.

About me
I believe a session becomes memorable because of what everyone brings when they sit down together. I lean into the Rule of Cool. When something cinematic or awesome is on the line, I use a “yes, and” approach that keeps the momentum alive. I’ve run games for all ages and can adjust tone and content for younger players. I’m also experienced with corporate groups and can tailor sessions for team‑building or professional goals. My games highlight player skill and creativity. It’s not about perfect builds — it’s about how you play, not what you play. I keep meaningful consequences on the table, including injury and death, and I embrace the unknown, the dangerous, and the monstrous. Your choices, your reactions, and how you use the tools you have in the moment are what truly matter. If you enjoy playing imperfect characters, taking risks, and clawing victory from the jaws of disaster, we’ll get along well.

Creating your character
We will initially use pre-generated characters so you can learn the game. After the first session, you have the option to customize the pregens or make a new PC from scratch. Embracing the random aspects of rolling up a character is encouraged.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account. I play without camera options You will need a way to send and receive sound. A gaming type headset is suggested.
What Skulliver brings to the table

How Skulliver creates a safe table
1. No "Horny Bards". I keep sexual content out of games. 2. No torture of captives or abuse of animals / kids. 3. No PVP. If it moves the story forward we can talk about it, but these are things which are so veiled they are pretty much lines for me and for the comfort of all players and myself, we will not explore them. We'll end the sessions with "Stars and Wishes". Players are welcome to detail lines and veils or "X" card situation either in the open or in a PM to me. Adventuring is dangerous. Nobody can see in the dark. Food and supplies are vital in the wilderness between towns and adventure sites. Your characters might die, or be maimed. There will be things that the party will not be up to fighting. It's a REALLY fun game, but if you try to play it like 5th edition D&D, you are going to have a rough time. Dragonbane is a skill based game, so there are no levels to balance in encounters, the world is alive and parts of it want to kill and / or eat adventurers.
