About the adventure

One of the best things about TTRPG's is that it is an evolving story that you make with other people. Everyone gets a piece to add into the narrative, but many GM's aren't sure how to approach this and often feel that players will come up with ideas that conflict with their own. Many GM's struggle to come up with what to do for sessions and when players go some place they aren't prepared for, they panic. Even after months of preparation, your players can decide to go to a place that you off-handedly mention, or worst of all ask you to come up with a name on the spot. All of this can be handled with some well placed improv. Famously this is a skill that actors and comedians use to perform comedy, but this is not the only use of improv. Improv is used in every single one of your games. Anytime you have to come up with an NPC, talk about a location description you don't have written down, describe a cool kill, or voice dialogue, you are using Improv. Honing your skills in this art will improve your GMing skills and wow your players.

About me

Hello, thanks for clicking on me! I'm Milo (he/they), 29 and obviously love TTRPGs. I've been playing TTRPGs for well over 10+ years and DMing for 7. I got into it because fantasy has been lacking in a lot of places, and I mean to fill those spaces. First and foremost, I care about your comfort. Every person who I DM for has to fill out a checklist of likes and dislikes, along with possible triggers. If you don't want it in the game, it won't be. Secondly, I am all about fun! I want to make sure every person participating is having fun and is engaged in the story. Third, this is all about you. This is your game experience, and I'm going to make it as great as possible! I am LGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly and open to people of all walks of life. If you want a fun, immersive game with a DM who is willing to take criticism and up for almost anything, you've come to the right place.

Creating your character

You'll need to have Discord downloaded and be prepared to pay attention. This is going to be a fast-paced lesson and cover a lot. Writing notes or having questions is always a good idea. We are going to be following a presentation for visuals and will have a Q&A after each section.
