About the adventure

As the scouts of the Broken Tusk clan, you must protect your people as they make their annual migration. Face dinosaurs and other megafauna and discover long forgotten paths and secrets—all while dodging a bloodthirsty rival following. A century ago a massive portal to the Abyss opened and demons invaded the world. The Broken Tusks hid their divine relic to keep it out of demonic hands. But those who wished to use it in the war stole the artifact. Yet somehow, the relic was lost. And you must be the ones to find it. Before those who would use its power for destruction.

About me

How do you make someone forget every single detail of their life? Ask them to talk about themself. I am Sunshine, a non-binary GM from the US. I have been playing TTRGPs for over ten years and GMed on and off most of that time. In addition to TTRPGs, I have been writing and telling stories for as long as I can remember. I have one degree in creative writing and one degree in playwrighting and dramaturgy (basically, I'm the loremaster, question asker, and conflict resolver of a show). I love reading TTRPG books and have a decent knack for memorizing rules (thank you AuDHD!). The systems that I have played are: - Alice is Missing - Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 & 5E - Fabula Ultima - Lasers & Feelings - Monster of the Week - Palladium - Pathfinder 1E & 2E - Phoenix: Dawn Command - Sentinel Comics: The Roleplaying Game

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will start at level 1. Please use Pathbuilder to create your characters. There are some optional rules that I will use (explained in Homebrew Rules) that require a one-time payment of US $5 to access in Pathbuilder, but is not necessary to make the purchase. I will also share the link to the adventure’s player’s guide, which has recommendations for characters. The guide also has backgrounds designed for this adventure and while they are recommended, they are not necessary. Do not hesitate to talk to me about character ideas. I am happy to schedule time to talk over Discord to help build characters and answer any other questions.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a Discord account for voice chat and I will send you the link to my Discord server. Foundry VTT is used for the game itself, but you don't need an account to use it.

What Sunshine brings to the table

I have a Foundry VTT account that will provide tokens, maps, and music. The system also easily automates the system so it is easier to learn.

Homebrew rules

- Advanced Character Options - Free Archetype: Multiclass into base or prestige classes Ancestry Paragon: Gain more ancestry feats Automatic Bonus Progression: Increase attacks, defense, and skills automatically Gradual Ability Score Boost: Increase one ability score at most levels - Rule Mastery Hero Point - At the start of each session, any player who tells me a Pathfinder 2E rule they learned will earn a free Hero Point. The rules shouldn't be too complex; about a short paragraph. - Spell Tradition Aptitude - The ability a character uses for their spellcasting will also be the ability used when rolling their spellcasting tradition’s associated skill (e.g. a Charisma Arcane caster would use Charisma instead of Intelligence when rolling Arcana).

Safety

How Sunshine creates a safe table

Shortly after you sign up I will send out an RPG Consent Checklist and share the information at session 0. I will keep the answers anonymous unless requested. I am a huge fan of the Stars and Wishes system. Though as this is a pre-made adventure, we will only be handing out Stars at the end of the session. Finally my table is a space where anyone is welcome. Any form of bigotry will not be tolerated.
