About the adventure
Beyond the mists of Barovia lie the Domains of Dread, cursed realms of horror, dark fantasy, temptation, and despair. Each domain is unique, shaped by the obsessions and cruelty of its master, calling to lost souls whose hidden desires and flaws resonate with its wicked nature. This is an 18+ horror roleplaying experience where terror and temptation walk hand in hand. Before the game begins, we'll discuss your boundaries, interests, preferred themes, and which Domain of Dread calls most strongly to your character. Your choices and desires will help shape the journey ahead. Whether you find yourself in a realm of obsession, corruption, forbidden love, madness, or supernatural horror, every domain offers its own blend of mystery, danger, intrigue, and dark seduction. The mists are always watching, and every bargain comes with a price. This game is intended for adult players seeking immersive roleplay, character-driven storytelling, different genres of horror, dark fantasy, mature themes, and meaningful choices. No matter which realm claims you, horror and dark desires will always be at its heart.

About me
I’m an experienced DM in more ways than one… but when it comes to TTRPGs, I’ve been immersed in the world of tabletop roleplaying for over 6 years, with 5 of those spent behind the screen crafting unforgettable adventures. I’ve also worked as a PSO for nearly as long, and I’ve definitely found satisfying ways to blend my professional instincts with my passion for storytelling. Creating immersive scenarios, guiding players through mysterious worlds, and leading them into thrilling, unpredictable adventures is something I genuinely love. Whether it’s tension, intrigue, danger, or a little playful temptation along the way, I know how to keep people engaged from start to finish… if you know what I mean. 😉

Creating your character
Final character creation takes place during Session 0, where we establish expectations, boundaries, tone, and what you want from the campaign. This sets us both up for success before the adventure begins. You’re welcome to come with character ideas prepared, and we’ll refine them together during Session 0 to better fit the story and the chosen Domain of Dread. For character creation mechanics, you may choose either rolled stats or point buy, depending on your preference. All official classes, races, and backgrounds are allowed, giving you full creative freedom to build your character. Homebrew might be allowed; it will be judged on a case-by-case basis. You may use either 2024 or 2014 rules, as long as consistency is maintained once the campaign begins. The focus is on storytelling, immersion, and character-driven interactions with the horror, temptation, and seduction within the Domains of Dread.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
First, we’ll have a short conversation through StartPlaying to make sure you’re comfortable with the game, understand the tone and themes, and to finalize any important details such as expectations, boundaries, and character ideas. Once that’s done, you can join the Discord server. We play using Foundry VTT for the game itself, where all maps, tokens, and mechanics are handled, and Discord for voice chat and communication during sessions.
What Lliira brings to the table
A game designed to immerse you in a constant tension between horror and desire, where every moment feels like you are living on the edge of something unknown and dangerous. The focus is on atmospheric storytelling, emotional roleplay, and meaningful choices that shape your journey through the Domains of Dread. You can expect a welcoming and judgment-free environment where players are free to explore the themes they are comfortable with, while always respecting established boundaries and expectations. Immersion is a core part of the experience. I use ambient music, sound design, and detailed maps in Foundry VTT to bring each Domain of Dread to life and make each setting feel tangible and alive.

Safety
How Lliira creates a safe table
Player safety and comfort are a core part of this game. Before play begins, you’ll be provided with a clear checklist of preferences, including “wants,” “icks,” and personal boundaries to help establish a shared understanding of tone and content expectations. We will hold a robust Session 0 where we discuss expectations, limits, themes, character direction, and the overall experience each player is looking for. This ensures both of us are aligned before the story begins and helps tailor the campaign to the what we both want. Aftercare is an important part of my GM style. After each session, I check in with players to make sure everyone is feeling comfortable and good about the experience. Ongoing communication between sessions is also encouraged so concerns or adjustments can be addressed quickly. We also use a clear preference system for signaling comfort levels during play (such as X, N, and O signals), ensuring that boundaries can be communicated easily and respected in real time. The goal is always a safe, collaborative, and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
