About the adventure
The Greenwood is beginning to change. A strange, unsettling stillness has fallen over the groves, and the air near the old forest-heart has grown heavy with a faint, cloying scent of overripe fruit and damp earth. An elder druid, noticing the local flora wilting out of season and the wildlife acting with uncharacteristic aggression, has called for aid. He fears that something foul has recently taken root within the vine-choked Temple Ruins, and while the corruption is fresh, its influence is spreading through the roots like a slow-moving fever. This adventure is a classic, medium-length dungeon crawl designed for players who enjoy a mix of tactical combat and atmospheric exploration. With roughly 60-70% of the session dedicated to battle, you will face off against the forest's agitated guardians and the early signs of a burgeoning rot. We will play using D&D 5e rules at Level 3, utilizing Point Buy or Standard Array for character creation. To ensure you are prepared for the journey into the deep woods, each adventurer starts with a few magic items and essential healing supplies provided by the druid. Your goal is to reach the heart of the ruins, uncover the source of this budding decay, and prune it before the rot can truly take hold. The woods are shifting—will you find the source in time?

About me
As a Professional Dungeon Master, I specialize in crafting immersive and dynamic experiences that blend role play with thrilling combat encounters. My campaigns are known for their depth, storytelling, and the memorable moments they create for players. The most important thing for me is to make sure that YOU have a great time! We play this together and even though I will be playing your enemies, I will always root for YOU! I want to make sure that you will remember our Campaign fondly, even after years have passed, telling people what crazy stuff you managed to do or just lose yourself in your memories from time to time. Experiencing these things with a group of great people is what makes TTRPGs stand out compared to any other game, at least these are my thoughts on it. So gather your stuff adventurer, prepare yourself and let us head out into the unknown!

Creating your character
Characters will be created in D&D Beyond. I prefer to use official content. If you have something what you really want to play from UA or 3rd party i can have a look at it and decide then. We will start at level 3, people can create characters in advance but i will also offer to create them togather! Ability scores can be rolled if the whole party wants and agrees to, otherwise we go by standard array / point buy. (we would roll 4 6-sided dice and keep the highest three) We use the 2014 rules.

Homebrew rules
-Using an item like potions on yourself is a bonus action, using them on someone else is an action, if the item does not specify otherwise -Once you get to lvl 5, you may cast two spells in one turn (with your action and bonus action) as long as one is a 1st lvl spell. -There is no cap on fall damage -No setting specific feats or backgrounds (e.g. Dragonlance, Strixhaven etc) -I prefer to use official content. If you have something what you really want to play from UA or 3rd party i can have a look at it and decide then. -Ability scores can be rolled if the whole party wants and agrees to, otherwise we go by standard array / point buy. (we would roll 4 6-sided dice and keep the highest three) -Hit Points on Level Up: When you level up, you can either say "I'm taking the average" or roll your class hit die. If you roll, I will also roll, behind the screen. You can take either what you have rolled or the mystery DM roll. -Monsters, their abilities and stats can and will be altered so don't be surprised if common known enemies use new Technics.

How Xeronos creates a safe table
The direction of the game will adjust to the enjoyment of the players, meaning if a group loves combat more than rp, more combat might happen and vice versa. The game will shape itself to the things the group enjoys the most! I am always very open to constructive criticism, suggestions or general questions and talking. Feel free to send me a message before or after the game if you want to talk about anything!
