About the adventure

A great evil has escaped from the beginning of time and every element of the Marvel universe is in jeopardy! Everything from the most galactic hideaways to the best pasta in Little Italy is at risk. What heroes will come along and save it? That is where your characters come in! You will play low level heroes brought in by SHIELD to investigate a Hydra anomaly deep in New York City. But everything is not as it seems. Soon you are dragged across time and space, desperate for solutions, desperate for answers. But you will need to find them yourself and save the universe as you do it! Can you pull off this mighty task? Or will your run be cancelled? Good luck!

About me

Hello adventurers! My name's Jacob and I've been running TTRPGs for over a decade with three years of experience full time GM-ing. With a long background in theatre as well as a former designer of escape rooms, I bring a wealth of experience to every game I run. My focus is on making a fun and satisfying story regardless of player history with the game. No matter whether your characters are trekking through a mountain pass, exploring the furthest reaches of space or even attending a spooky summer camp, you should be experiencing a well crafted adventure you will never forget! I also bring an attentive eye to representation within the game space. As a former organizer and field director for numerous political campaigns, I have fought for this first hand and will not let it go unnoticed in my games. There is a wide spectrum of games I have played and run varying from DND (5e and 3.5), Pathfinder (1e and 2e), Doctor Who, Kids on Bikes, Honey Heist, Mutants and Masterminds, Call of Cthulhu, Wet Hot American Summer, Everything Is Dolphins, Fallout RPG and much, much more. I look forward to crafting unique gaming experiences in these wildly different worlds exclusively for you.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will happen as part of session zero. I would highly recommend preparing a few ideas for characters but we will be doing the character creation together.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

The game will be done over Discord and Demiplane so a functioning internet connection, computer and microphone/headset is highly recommended if not absolutely necessary. Dice can be done either digitally or using your own physical dice.

What Jacob Cordas brings to the table

I will bring a deep love of the lore, an unmatched experience with the system and an affection for making every adventure perfect for each player. Moreover as a current comic book collector, I will bring a sense of connection to the material hard to be found anywhere else.

Safety

How Jacob Cordas creates a safe table

This campaign is filled with the grandest of super heroics. To make that as much fun as possible, safety is of the utmost importance. We will first do a full session zero where players will fill out the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist. From there, we will use a variation of the X, N, and O Cards called Yellow/Red Cards and an Open Door Policy while we play. Finally the game will feature a regular scheduled mid-game break to aid with pacing and avoid bleed.
