About the adventure
The Last Free Knights In a realm where magic is feared, fading, and half-forgotten, the last true knights still ride beneath banners of old. The Last Free Knights is a grounded fantasy campaign using the rules-light, dangerous, and deeply atmospheric system of Mythic Bastionland. Players take on the role of randomly selected (rolled) sworn knights, each chosen and knighted by different mysterious Seers across the realm. Mystics burdened with fragmented visions of terrible truths hidden beneath folklore and superstition. Though your orders, loyalties, and beliefs may differ, the Seers agree on one thing: Four myths plague the land. Not stories. Not metaphors. Truths. Ancient horrors, impossible beings, forgotten kingdoms, cursed relics, or stranger things still whispered about around dying hearthfires. At the beginning of the campaign, these four myths are randomly determined through team rolls, meaning neither the players nor the GM fully know what threats await until fate reveals them. This is a lower-magic, character-driven fantasy adventure focused on: • Wandering knights and fragile loyalties • Harsh journeys across a dying realm • Ominous folklore and emerging legends • Difficult choices over heroic destiny • Strange encounters • Exploration across a custom hexmap of the realm Combat is dangerous, victories are hard-earned, and the world rarely offers clean answers. Your knights are capable, respected, and armed with conviction… but conviction alone will not be enough. Together, the Last Free Knights must decide what kind of legends they will become… if they survive long enough to become legend.

About me
I’m a passionate Game Master with a deep love for storytelling, immersive roleplay, and cinematic gameplay. I’ve been running tabletop RPGs for several years, with a focus on Daggerheart, Cyberpunk RED, Masks and more recently diving into some horror systems like Mothership. I specialise in crafting adventures with strong narrative arcs, dynamic NPCs, and a focus in player-driven choices that shape the world. My background includes years of experience in creative project management, which I now pour into building engaging campaigns, and memorable one-shots. Whether you’re a brand new player or a seasoned veteran, my goal is to create a fun, inclusive, and welcoming table where everyone gets a chance to shine. I love blending roleplay with tactical encounters, mystery, and moments of levity, and I’ll always make sure your character has a place in the story. Let’s roll some dice and tell an epic story together!

Creating your character
Character creation will be rolled with the GM and fellow knights within the discord out-of-character channel. Players will roll for which of the 72 Last Free Knights they will embody and make their own.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All that is needed for this game is a discord account, an open mind, and a passion for narrative collaboration.
What KingTasty (Elliot) brings to the table
As a GM I pride myself on my character-driven narrative games, and the reactive and ever changing worlds in which we build together. With my games you’re sure to get epic character moments, some deep story arcs, and player free will to bend the story and the objectives where seems most effective to achieve the groups overall goal.
Homebrew rules
To keep the flow of the narrative driven play by post format fast and fun for everyone (as sometimes the occasional tabletop rule do not translate so well to written text format), more crunchy mechanics will be slightly simplified where necessary to keep the cinematic story moving without interruption.

Safety
How KingTasty (Elliot) creates a safe table
Players will be kept safe and supported through regular breaks and bleed throughout the slower nature of the play by post format, as well as an open door policy with GM and a separate group chat from the main scene for players to discuss and decompress out of character.
