About the adventure
A Long Time Ago In A Galaxy Far, Far Away… Just one more job. That and about a dozen other sayings get repeated everyday. Though, it’s never really just one more job, isn’t it? Even in a galaxy consumed by war, credits and favours must keep flowing. You could be on the run from a Hutt Crime Lord with a death mark on your head. Maybe you owe money to the IGBC that you can’t pay back. Perhaps it’s just the thrill you’re after. Or just like millions of other lost souls you simply want to escape the slaughter that accompanies battles between the Droids and Clones. This one was like that. You were hired on for a ship called the Crimson Twilight. You were to take an unmarked crate from Bilbringi and bring it to the galactic capital where a power Vigo of the Black Sun named, Suunra Krazex would pay you tens of thousands of Republics. Enough to retire on any world you choose. With the only demands being to bring the cargo intact and no questions asked; what isn’t there to love? The catch? A dangerous information broker and about a few ambitious gangsters from the lower levels of Coruscant want what’s in that crate. And if you can’t get that cargo back or find a way to pay back Krazex; heads will roll. Deep in the lower level slums of Coruscant as the Clone Wars wage across the galaxy; another war breaks out underneath the Republic’s nose. Even then, far above, a dark change is on the horizon for the entire galaxy as the war draws near to its end. This campaign is part of an expansion AU timeline of Star Wars that spans over millennia of stories. Your actions here can have profound effects on other campaigns. And with all campaigns contributing to a larger narrative; each victory and defeat can shape the future of this timeline in ways yet to be seen. Whether you join only for this story or to see the full tapestry of this AU unfold is up to you. See you very soon and may the Force be with you!

About me
Hello There! You can call me many different things! Gallant, Commander Hellreaper, Morgan LePenguin, Jadyn, and more! I have been GMing for the past 5 years running multiple Campaigns! Namely, I am running a Star Wars Alternate Universe using the Star Wars RPG by Fantasy Flight Games/Edge Studios. I own all three Core Rulebooks and all of the Sourcebooks. I run my games on Foundry VTT, using a Discord Server to talk with players. I have Wednesday through Sunday available for running games. When I run my games, I run them with the themes of the universe in question. Trying to create an experience being both unique while still being true to the feeling of the system/universe. I enjoy allowing my players to shape the Campaigns with their decisions. Allowing the players free will (but certainly not free from consequences!). Being open to discussion to find compromise whenever issues arrive. I like to give my games a feeling of being lived in. Using Worldbuilding to make the world feel real. Giving each NPC their own personalities. I like to use skills I've learned in writing fiction to help players feel connected to the game world. I hope you consider me for your games! And I am excited to share the experience of these games with you!

Creating your character
We will be using material from all three core rule books for this system and all supplement books. With a focus on Edge of the Empire. We will meet in VC in our lovely Discord Server where you will be provided a link to the Foundry VTT Server. We are using Forge VTT to host Foundry. For those who have not used either system before, you will have to create an account for Forge but the host must create a separate Foundry account for you. So you should provide a password for your user. The Foundry user will have no personal information and is only there for you to access Foundry and your character sheets and the password can be as simple or complicated as you want. The password is to prevent other players from accessing your character sheets by accident.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need is a mic for Discord VC and a device capable of accessing Foundry (a laptop or desktop computer). Otherwise, we have everything you will need to play the game.
What Gallant Ascent brings to the table

How Gallant Ascent creates a safe table
We will hold a free session 0 to ensure all players are heard and are able to express their needs and concerns. Likewise, after the game has begun, we offer players the ability to interrupt a session to express discomfort at a certain subject and we also have player resources councillor ready to help you with any of your needs should the GM be unavailable.
