About the adventure

The world of Seraph is a vast expanse of nations and ancient magic which has been outlawed and ostracized. Within this sandbox, anyone can be anything they dream of. A temple runner looking to explore ancient ruins? Perhaps an upstart criminal looking to make a name for themselves. Or maybe you are a simple farmer looking to sell their next crop. The choice is yours in Seraph. Many nations dot the landscape - each one with their own themes and technological advancements. Looking to rob a train in the desert like cowboys of old? A Victorian noble seeking reprieve from mundane life, perhaps. Druids performing experiments in a fungal forest? This world draws themes from any corner of fiction you desire, while keeping a structured lore. If you love improv, fleshed-out-story-crafting, comedy, and a sense of family, this is the table for you.

About me

My name is Alek, I’ve been DM’ing Dungeons and Dragons 5e for roughly 4-5 years now. I’m currently attempting to learn Vampire the Masquerade 5e, as well as other different TTRPGS! I love conjuring immersive scenarios and doing improv with my players to create a humorous, fun, and united atmosphere.

What NightWalker 66 brings to the table

I believe in player agency first, as long as it fits the table vibe/approval. I try to immerse players as best I can - which means playing ambience, doing voices (badly,) Intense roleplay, and consequences of choices. Aside from plot required combat, players will see as much combat as they choose to enact. I'm a big fan of Rule of Cool, so long as the table feels okay with it. While this world is a sandbox; plots will use cut-scene like mechanics at certain times, where players will briefly be unable to interact; like a video game.

Homebrew rules

- Potions are bonus actions. - May expend death saves on low health to various effects. - Called body shots inflict certain debuff's.

Safety

How NightWalker 66 creates a safe table

Lines and Veils will be discussed during session 0. However I will send documents players can fill out, discussing their lines and boundaries if they do not feel comfortable sharing with the table. Players are also free to privately message me if a scene is too uncomfortable and we will quickly switch lanes. I hold player safety and opinions very near to me, any repeat offenders after warnings, will be removed from my tables.
