About the adventure
š An Empire Awakens... And It's Hungry. For centuries, the ashes of the Azarumme Empireāa long-dead legions of liches and vampiresālay forgotten. Now, their ancient vanguard has begun to stir deep within the undercroft of a local church. With the parish priests kidnapped for a terrifying, unholy ritual, your party is tasked with breaching the crypts to rescue the survivors and stop the corruption at its source. Will you save them from the dark, or will you become just another mindless ghoul in the army of the dead? ā” Why Play At This Table? Classic, High-Octane Dungeon Crawl: No endless travel or filler. This is a pure, tactical gauntlet of door-kicking, trap-disarming, and aggressive monster-slaying. Subclass Showdown (Level 3 Power): Level 3 is where D&D gets fun! Itās the perfect, beginner-friendly playground to unleash your brand-new subclass abilities and test your character build. Fully Automated Combat: Powered by Midi-QOL and JB2A animations. Watch your divine smites, firebolts, and sword swings literally slash across the map with zero lag or math homework. Immersive Map Tech: Dynamic line-of-sight lighting, secret doors, and creepy ambient audio design ensure that every corner you turn feels genuinely tense.
Meet the Game Master
About me
I've been my friends forever GM since 3.5 and 1e pathfinder and have loved doing it! During Covid, I really started to enjoy playing DnD using Foundry and Roll20, being able to draw up my own maps and tokens without an expensive trip to the game shop. I focus on running official modules and one shots to make things a bit easier while I draw up my own custom campaign based on things that my players enjoy! My style tends to be survival and RP heavy sessions instead of just gathering numbers, and I really enjoy gothic/dark settings. My first question to you as a player will always be "What are you comfortable with and what is a hard limit" to ensure everyone is comfortable and having a fun time, and the end of sessions will most often be me asking for feedback on my performance as a DM so I can always improve. I am also a streamer (a VTuber nonetheless) but sessions will NOT be streamed/recorded without unanimous consent from the group.

How Maulerant creates a safe table
Players can expect an indepth discussion of lines and veils, as well as a tutorial of the built in X,N, and O interface within Foundry VTT. After the limits are discussed and characters have been approved (if they hadn't already) the game will start and will run until the end of the one-shot. During this time, there will be role play and combat adhering to the limits. After the one-shot, there will be a small talk during which I'll provide as well as ask for feedback on how the game went.
