This is not a game frought with stats and math traditionally found in other TTRPG games. Instead, Legend in the Mist uses an elegant "tags" and "themes" system. You start with a number of "tags" under four of your "themes". These are descriptors to the four main facets of your character. When taking an action within the story, select however many "tags" fit with said action and roll two six sided dice. Add the result! The higher the result, the better the outcome!
