About the adventure

In Rise of the Runelords, you begin as heroes in Sandpoint, a small town near the great city of Magnimar. You are attending the Swallowtail Festival when something unexpected happens… As the campaign unfolds, you’ll delve into dungeons, investigate murders, destroy evil lairs, and do whatever it takes to ensure Sandpoint’s safety. My conversion focuses on what I believe is most fun in Second Edition. Because of that, it is not a strict 1-to-1 conversion when it comes to combat encounters. The original adventure features many single-enemy fights and solo hazards, which simply aren’t very engaging in PF2e. These have been adjusted for better pacing and challenge. My conversion is currently being playtested for the third time. That said, the story remains intact. Be aware that Rise of the Runelords was written for Pathfinder 1e, and it explores several heavy themes that may not be suitable for everyone. Please make sure to read the safety section before playing.

About me

🎲 Professional GM since 2021, rolling since 2011! ⚔️ 10+ years of adventures TTRPGs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I love meeting new players, sharing laughs over dice rolls, and building those friendships that somehow survive a TPK. My tables are designed to be chill, safe, and welcoming; a place where you can relax, have fun, and make memories (or terrible decisions, both are valid). Of course, it's not all chaos. I make sure every player's idea matters. Whether you want epic combat, deep roleplay, fun banter (or just want to roast my NPC names), there's a seat at my table for you. 🎲 What's it like at my table? 🎲 "Make a Perception check." "I got a 3." (player stares into the void) "You see nothing. Absolutely nothing." And we're just getting started!

Character creation

Creating your character

• In my games, I like to follow the Rules as Written with a few small adjustments and "quality of life" additions. • Pathfinder 2e only. • Players can create their characters using any ancestry and class, regardless of rarity. Backgrounds are common only, with exceptions based on player request. • I allow most uncommon items/features, feel free to ask. Rare is a little more restrictive but might still be allowed. • Variant Rules: Free Archetype.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

• Decent microphone • Decent internet • Consistent schedule. • Discord to use voice chat (account is required).

What Lucas brings to the table

• I will bring all what you need in Foundry and an extensive knowledge of the rules of the system. While I know most of the system from the top of my head, sometimes I might need to make a quick search. • I will also automate Foundry beyond the default automation.

Homebrew rules

I have a document that includes a few suggested changes, such as picking Archetype Skill Feats as Archetype Feats, Recall Knowledge suggestions etc.
