About the adventure
🌃 “They called us in after midnight. One Blade Runner dead at the Snake Pit. Their partner missing. Witnesses saw too much, remembered too little, and every piece of evidence pointed somewhere someone did not want us to look.” The dream is electric. The sin is human. 🌧️ Los Angeles, 2037. The rain never really stops. The city glows in corporate neon, police searchlights, noodle bar signs, and the cold blue glare of the Wallace Corporation. Replicants have returned to Earth under strict control, Nexus-9s walk among humans, and the LAPD’s Rep-Detect Unit is expected to keep the peace before anyone asks too many questions. 🕵️ The Case: In Electric Dreams, your squad of Blade Runners is called into a case that begins inside the department itself: a fellow Blade Runner has been murdered at the Snake Pit, a seedy Los Angeles nightclub, and their partner has vanished. What should be a contained internal investigation quickly turns into something far stranger. Witnesses contradict themselves. Evidence refuses to stay simple. Corporate interests circle the case. Every lead raises the same uncomfortable question: What happens when the truth has been edited before you ever arrive? 🔎 What You’ll Do: You will investigate the nightclub crime scene, question witnesses, follow leads through the rain-slick streets of Los Angeles, examine evidence, confront suspects, and decide how far your badge really reaches when power, memory, and identity are all compromised. This is a cinematic neo-noir investigation about loyalty, empathy, pressure, and the cost of knowing too much. 🎲 Game System & Beginner Support: The Blade Runner RPG uses Free League’s Year Zero Engine, adapted for cinematic investigative play. When your character attempts something risky, you usually roll two dice: one for an attribute and one for a skill. These dice range from d6 to d12, and any die that rolls a 6 or higher counts as a success. Harder tasks may require more than one success, and you can push a roll when you are desperate — but pushing always comes with a cost. No experience with the Blade Runner RPG is required. Pre-generated characters will be provided, the rules will be taught during play, and Foundry VTT will handle the character sheets, dice, and most of the math. ⚖️ Tone & Style: This is not a combat grind. Violence is possible, and danger is real, but the heart of the game is investigation, atmosphere, character choice, and moral consequence. You are not just solving a case. You are deciding what justice means in a world where the law, the corporation, and the truth rarely point in the same direction.

About me
Like a lot of people, I grew up at the table — high school, college, and the years after — both as a player and a GM. Then life happened, and the dice went quiet for a while. When I found my way back in 2022, I knew exactly what kind of table I wanted to build, and I have been building it ever since. I run Free League Publishing and Year Zero Engine games almost exclusively, and for good reason: they nail what I care about most as a GM. Tension. Consequence. A world that feels real and pushes back. Whether we are surviving the ruins of Twilight: 2000, chasing the edge of the galaxy in Coriolis: The Third Horizon or The Great Dark, hunting xenomorphs in Alien, or uncovering old horrors in Vaesen, every session is built around atmosphere, player choice, and consequences that feel earned. I also run Dragonbane, Blade Runner, Tales From the Loop, Tales of the Old West, and Invincible: Superhero Roleplaying, so if a corner of Free League or the Year Zero Engine has caught your attention, there is a good chance we can make it happen. My tables are beginner-friendly and LGBTQ+ friendly, full stop. If you have never touched a Year Zero Engine game — or any tabletop roleplaying game — I will help you get comfortable before we roll. If you already know the systems, you will feel right at home. My Information Technology background helps keep Foundry VTT and Discord organized and accessible, and when tech hiccups happen, we sort them out together. With fifteen years of tabletop experience across science fiction, fantasy, horror, western, superhero, and post-apocalyptic games — and several years of dedicated online GMing since returning in 2022 — I know how to keep scenes moving, help new players feel capable, and give veteran players room to be surprised. What I am after is a table where your choices shape the world, the atmosphere pulls you in, and you leave with a story worth retelling. The best thing I hear after a session is not “great GM” — it is players recounting what we built together, like they can hardly believe it happened. If that sounds like your kind of game, let’s play.
