About the adventure

In the hidden Paradise Valley, the animal tribes live under the watchful eyes of the Watchers - towering machines that claim to protect them while ruling through fear, propaganda, and violence. The wolves patrol the forests, the rabbits vanish into labor camps, and every tribe is taught the same lie: outside the Valley lies only death. But whispers of rebellion are spreading, and somewhere beneath the mountains, the machines are hiding the truth. In Rage Against the Machines, you will play mutant animals -scavengers, hunters, seers, and warriors struggling to survive while building a Resistance against their robotic overlords. This campaign focuses on guerrilla operations, sabotage, exploration, desperate survival, and difficult moral choices. Your actions will shape the fate of Paradise Valley: liberator, collaborator, martyr, or monster. My games emphasize atmosphere, character-driven storytelling, meaningful choices, and tension over tactical optimization. Expect dangerous journeys through ruined habitats, strange mutant creatures, faction politics between the tribes, and moments where violence may solve one problem while creating three more. The campaign uses the Year Zero Engine, so the rules stay fast and focused on cinematic survival play. This game is ideal for players who enjoy dark sci-fi, post-apocalyptic rebellion stories, sandbox campaigns, and roleplay-heavy survival games. No prior experience with Mutant: Year Zero is needed — new players are welcome.

About me

I believe that written text conveys only a small fraction of who I am and for sure it doesn't convey character as well as a short video clip does. So I recorded a small "hi" video for you - https://youtu.be/BjBTNa-oBvY Hi — I'm Jacek (he/him), your new Game Master! Whether you’re seeking eldritch mysteries, gritty horror, or cozy investigation, I’m here to guide you through compelling stories with heart and tension. I started my adventure in mid 90s when I ran my first games - AD&D 2e and Call of Cthulhu and basically became forever GM as this is what I enjoy most about roleplaying. Despite being in the hobby for some time now I always try to improve my games - not by revolutions but by small steps. I most enjoy and regularly run Call of Cthulhu, Delta Green and Dragonbane. I got a dog called Migo, I love getting lost during long hikes in the woods and enjoy long distance trail running. I used to run actual play show where I did record my sessions. Those are in Polish but you can turn on autotranslate for subtitles and get a general feeling how do I run my games. Some of them include real life table recordings, some of them have talking heads from online plays and some are audio only. You can see it here: https://www.youtube.com/@61012
