About the adventure

After a centuries-long war, the world was left in utter ruin. All but one city remains standing; the others are left in complete disrepair. The blood from the generations of soldiers slain has pooled together, and from it monsters were born that now infest the war-torn lands. You have been tasked with a dangerous but crucial assignment. You are to venture from the safety of the city walls to explore and document what remains of our world. On these travels, you will be faced with deadly monsters, sprawling dungeons, and pockets of civilization that survived the war.

About me

Greetings, My name is Gabriel Mathis. If you have me as your GM, you will find that I am creative, personable, and a bit theatrical. In my games, you can expect intriguing mysteries, engaging roleplay, and countless opportunities for your character to *Shine*! I do hope you consider joining my players for an exciting Dungeons & Dragons or Daggerheart adventure.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will build characters during session 1. All official material published for 5.5e is allowed. You can also play as a blood hunter and use subclasses from 5e, with some modifications.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a Roll 20 and a Discord account, both of which are free.

What Gabriel Mathis (Wail the Bat) brings to the table

I use Dungeon Scrawl Pro and a Roll20 Elite account to ensure a fun and immersive experience with music and sound effects for my players, along with custom tokens. I do voices for all of the NPCs you will meet, drawing from my theater experience to make each one come to life. And at your request, I will also write custom material for your character to bring them closer to your vision.

Homebrew rules

Perkin's Crit. When you land a critical Hit, you roll for damage and add the maximum damage to the total. Presentation Skill Check. The Performance skill is replaced with Presentation. This will be elaborated on during session 0. All homebrew and 3rd party character options can be used after GM approval.
