About the adventure
As the Hellfire Crisis dawns and spreads its turmoil throughout Avistan, the nation of Isger is being shaken up by the rebel organization the Hellbreakers League, which seeks to break Isger free of its oppressor and patron nation of infernal Cheliax. Player characters will carry out daring missions against Chelaxian strongholds, face off with the deadly Hellknights, and strike out against the forces of Hell itself! On the way, they’ll run into dangerous enemies both new and old and uncover long-lost secrets powerful and ancient. Can the PCs stoke the fires of revolution and throw off the diabolic chains of Cheliax or will they be ground beneath the boot of oppression? Join the Hellbreakers and do your part! Paizo's official trailer for the campaign: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JA-5ltQ1ofw In this campaign I will be running the Hellbreakers Adventure Path, utilizing the assets from the official Foundry module. I plan to expand on the campaign, as the game goes on, incorporating PC specific side content, and fleshing out the campaign as appropriate. Players of all skill levels are welcome, from beginners to experts.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I am a Game Master with twenty years of experiance, and an amateur Vtuber and TTRPG content creator. I have experience in a dozen systems, and am interested in running games both recorded for Youtube and private. One of my proudest achievements was a multi-year experiment in which I ran more than half a dozen D&D 5e campaigns in a shared world with many crossovers and some special events. It was a very amazing experience, and the created a rich homebrew setting to play in. However, I am moving away from D&D 5th edition in favor of other systems. I have recently (the last year or so) become a big fan of Pathfinder 2e, in addition I also have a strong interest in OSR style games, such as Old School Essentials and Worlds Without Number. I am also a huge fan of GURPS, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Dungeon World, Fate, and enjoy Savage Worlds, Edge of the Empire, Legends of the Five Rings, and a variety of other PbtA systems as well, and am looking to run Pathfinder 2e more, and more ORS style systems.

Creating your character
Player characters will be created collaboratively during the first session. Characters will start at Level 1, and we will be utilizing the Free Archetype rule when the PCs reach Level 2. Players are strongly encouraged to choose Archetypes with the themes and story in mind, over pure optimization. The Hellbreaker archetype included in adventure path is the most obvious choice for a PC to take as their free archetype, but other thematically appropriate archetypes from Player Core 2 include Assassin, Bastion, Marshal, Mauler, Medic, Scout, and Sentinel. With the exceptions of Aldori Duelist and Iridian Choirmaster, most archetypes from Battlecry! are also appropriate. While a few portions of this campaign have the PCs engaging in vigilante actions, the Vigilante archetype is a poor fit overall for the campaign and should be avoided. Cavalier is thematically appropriate, but not all locations in the adventure will be accommodating to mounts. A PC who has an animal companion will get a new option in the Hellbreakers Adventure Path: the Isgeri Boarhound. For more suggestions on appropriate characters see the Player's Guide here: https://downloads.paizo.com/Hellbreakers_PlayersGuide.pdf
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a free Discord account, and download the Discord app. I will share a link to my private Discord server with all players after they sign up. No other software or accounts, other than an internet browser to access the Foundry page will be needed. Players should have a working microphone and headphones.
What Kaybe Angel brings to the table
We will be using the official Foundry module which includes many battlemaps, ambient sound effects, unique tokens, and character art. I will likely supplement the official material with additional side material utilizing my collection of battlemaps from numerous artist that I support on Patreon and elsewhere, and will provide ambient and combat music appropriate to the scenes. Additionally, I will provide some additional homebrew side adventures, tailored to the specific interests of the PCs we end up with in the campaign, as time goes on.
Homebrew rules
I have some homebrew ancestries for my homebrew setting, that I am interested in playtesting, and so may make those available for players to select, if any players are interested.

How Kaybe Angel creates a safe table
We will go over the content of the adventure during Session 0, and discuss any additional lines or veils. I invite all players to stay after the session to discuss any concerns, issues, or provide feedback as needed. An X-Card module is enabled in all of my Foundry games, its use will be explained during Session 0.
