About the adventure
The world of Artera is steeped in culture, tradition, and danger. You as a player will be taking on the role of a Spirit Corps Academy student- a member of a secretive organization known as the Spirit Corps. Comprised of exorcists from around the world, the Spirit Corps entire job is to protect the Ley-Lines of energy around the world from dark Daemons and sinister Yokai. Creatures of sin and negative emotion that have manifested in our world and feed on the psychic energy of human beings. Enrolling in the Spirit Corps will teach your exorcist the basic skills they need to survive and protect those they care about. And speaking of those they care about, your exorcist will have plenty of down-time between missions and their class studies to focus on their relationships! That's right, with a fully integrated Para social matrix, your exorcist can build relationships with their fellow students and staff, creating strong bonds of friendship, rivalry, and even love. This Anime inspired game promises to deliver on the many tropes and themes we've come to understand and love about the genre. Will you be a tragic anti-hero? A silly comic relief? The collaborative elements of telling a nuanced, creative, and personal story together with others has been the drive and focus of my games ever since I started DMing. My games have heavy focus on narrative expression, inter-personal relationships, and personalized player experience as opposed to the shoe-horn style of making players fit into specific boxes to fit the campaign. Though there is a level of nostalgia with pre-made modules, my love for the game really shines in world building and homebrew. I've been homebrewing my game worlds since I began DMing. Creating your character
Character creation will happen with me the GM. Ideally this will occur during session 0 if you're joining at the beginning of the campaign. If you are joining later than that, we will have a 1-on-1 to create your character as there are some lore restrictions that need to be considered, and the M&M game system is incredibly easy to break so we will work together to make sure your character does what you want, but doesn't trivialize the entire game.

I will be providing a completely homebrewed adventure rife with a colorful cast of NPCs to interact with, fight, and fall in love with. I will bring my own Relationship Matrix that I've developed to help you track your disposition with different characters and their feelings towards your PC. This plus ambient music to help set the stage and over 15 years of GM experience in a multitude of different TTRPGs

How Morrganical creates a safe table
We will have a google form to cover Lines and Veils. Additionally there will be safety tools used in game in case we need to pause play, retcon, rewind, fade to black, etc. Most of this will be discussed during session 0.
