About the adventure

When you signed on to this merchant vessel, you did not know you were sailing to your doom! Now, adrift in the Sea of Sorrows, you seek the Lighthouse, the only way to leave this cursed place and return home. Along the way, you visit Islands of Terror, to refuel, and take on crew, and acquire knowledge of the Lighthouse. But beware the dread captain Pietra van Riese, who believes you'd be better off joining the zombie crew of her ghost ship Relentless, whether you like it or not. Set in 5e's reimagined Ravenloft, this campaign will take you from a green crewmate to an hardened seadog — or a waterlogged corpse!

About me

I love all sorts of games, but my absolute favorite are games that hit hard and fast with action, drama, and horror! I especially like one-shots because they are so focused. I've been DM/GMing since 2000.

Character creation

Creating your character

In the first session we will create characters as a group, filling out the party and creating some backups. They will begin as simple Survivors, as per the rules in Van Richen's Guide to Ravenloft. As you survive and triumph, you will have the opportunity to gain feats and gain class levels. And if you die (and you may well die), there's always undeath...

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a microphone and webcam is preferred. Bring your dice, physical or digital. We will be using Discord for audiovisual and Owlbear Rodeo for maps.
