About the adventure
🛡️ Rise as a local hero in a time of need 🕸️ Escape the web of intrigue 🗡️ Use creativity as your main weapon 💩 Shit your pantaloons fighting your first dragon Your dwarf friend Gundren convinced you to go to a small town, where he and his brothers made a huge discovery. A lost mine where magical items of great power were once created. You were promised a vast amount of coin for the simple task of escorting the brothers, while they reclaim the mines. But apparently, you are not the only ones interested in them. The dwarf was kidnapped by someone only known as the "Black Spider" and now your future depends on rescuing Gundren...before the kidnapper no longer has use for him. This campaign uses both acclaimed D&D starter sets, mixing their stories to add more freedom to the players as they are able to pick and choose from a range of side quests, while also following the mystery of the Lost Mines. It is ideal for beginners. The 3 pillars of play (combat, roleplay and exploration) will be fully used for variety in our sessions and for that classic D&D experience. 👦🏽 He/him 🌴 Brazilian Hey there, the name is Rodrigo (pronounced Rawwwrrrrr!) After spending the last 12 years working as a successful IT consultant in Switzerland, I decided to do what any wise person would. I said screw it, packed my bags, my wife and my dog (yes, yes, packed all of them) and moved back to Brazil to start a completely new career as a full-time Game Master. My family and friends were really confused by my decision. Me? I'm having a blast! This is the first time in my life I'm working with what I love: making other people have fun and laugh. Creating your character
You can use my pre-generated characters or create your own if you know how. If you want to use a pre-generated one, you can stop reading this. If you want to create your own, I will assist you, as you do. Here is the information you will need to create them: Classes, subclasses and races from the following books are allowed (all shared by me): Player's Handbook, Volo's , Mordenkainen's, Xanathar's , Tasha's , Van Richten's, Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, Mordenkainen Presents, Bigby Presents, Heroes of Faerun Stat generation: Standard Array or Point Buy Hit points: average and not rolled You will need to select an image to represent your character
What to expect
Preparing for the session
New players are welcomed and I can help you with the following required steps: Roll20 account created before the game (free) DnDBeyond account created before the game (free) Discord account created and software installed before the game (free) Mic needed Webcam optional, but highly recommended Character creation must be finished and reviewed by me at least 1 hour before the session starts. Alternatively, you may use a pre-generated character Join the Discord server and Roll20 game by following the links in the "Prep Materials", available after you join the game
