About the adventure
Welcome to Halcyon, a complex city whose history is written by three generations of superhuman heroes, diabolical villains, and the urban warfare between them. You’re part of the fourth. The oldest among you are in their late 20s, hardly adults themselves, their fixed identities fresh, and yours yet to be fixed at all. You see, everyone constantly tells you what to do and who you are. Teachers, maniacs dressed like ninjas, your crush, alligator people from the sewers, your boss, your superhero team, and adults in general. They tell you that you’re their hero, at best, or a villain in the making, at worst. Enough that it gets to you. Pisses you off, scares you, leaves you second guessing yourself. Show them who the hell you are, at least once you’ve figured it out. We’ll be playing by post on Discord, with the MADDIE dice bot as well as TupperBox. That means we’re using a messaging application, a bot that tracks your stats and rolls dice for you, and a different, optional bot that effectively disguises your username with your characters name, assisting with immersion. Please don’t use AI to generate your submissions to the game. Make pictures, bounce ideas around, sure, but everyone’s writing, at least, should come from the soul.

About me
I’m CIS, white, male, neurodivergent, pansexual-panromantic and the type of person who respects it if you need to know those things about me before we play. I gotchu. I’ve been running games for about 15 years now, I spend so much time on it that I can’t justify it financially, anymore, without charging. Over time I’ve gotten very improvisational, preferring to leap right into session zero and let the character discussion fuel my plans. I prefer play by post, and I like my familiar systems, but I’m charging for this, I’m aware of my limits and capabilities, and I’m very particular, so you can expect the utmost effort at making this experience right for you; Any system you want I can learn. This is my safe space, and I aim to share that safety with everyone involved; Lines and veils will be anonymous and unchallenged. Prejudice and abuse will not be tolerated, repeat offenders and their icky money will be kicked out and not invited back.

Creating your character
We will hold a free session 0 where we discuss character creation together. This ensures everyone is thematically unique, comfortable together, and familiar with one another’s characters. Session 0 will take place over a period of no more than a month. All official playbooks will be available.
The Nova playbook is taken. The beacon is taken. The Scion is taken. The Outsider, and Legacy are being considered.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need to download Discord and Google Drive ahead of time to ensure you can participate and access the official content. You might also want to make a Tupperbox character as well. You can also consume superhero media, teen drama shows and movies, and freshen up on the genres you’d like to bring to the table, if you’d like.
What Jeremy brings to the table
I have PDFs for playbooks, reference sheets for moves, supplements, and loads of content from previous games still written down, ensuring refined and tested content in game.
Homebrew rules
I don’t usually calculate how much Team you have until someone needs to use it. I find stopping to ask questions and count answers right before a fight tends to stifle the drama.

How Jeremy creates a safe table
Aside from “Controlling parents,” “microagressions” and “violence,” I don’t guarantee the presence of any of the listed trigger warnings. Based on my experience, they’re possibilities in the context of a superhero setting, and I highly encourage players to discuss their lines and veils and respect one another’s despite these trigger warnings to ensure we’re all in a safe place. The triggers that are completely unlisted are triggers I mostly will not tolerate in the game.
