About Jeremy
I’m CIS, white, male, neurodivergent, pansexual-panromantic and the type of person who respects it if you need to know those things about me before we play. I gotchu. I’ve been running games for about 15 years now, I spend so much time on it that I can’t justify it financially, anymore, without charging. Over time I’ve gotten very improvisational, preferring to leap right into session zero and let the character discussion fuel my plans. I prefer play by post, and I like my familiar systems, but I’m charging for this, I’m aware of my limits and capabilities, and I’m very particular, so you can expect the utmost effort at making this experience right for you; Any system you want I can learn. This is my safe space, and I aim to share that safety with everyone involved; Lines and veils will be anonymous and unchallenged. Prejudice and abuse will not be tolerated, repeat offenders and their icky money will be kicked out and not invited back.

I became a GM because
I don’t mean to brag (this much) but I’m a font of creativity. So many ideas come through that it’s problematic, I’ve stopped valuing them. You might want to hesitate to share an idea with the group because of my idea already being there, but rest assured, I’m not married to whatever it is.
I got started GMing...
…immediately. I knew as soon as I sat in on a session of World of Darkness after school one summer day in 2011 which part I wanted to play. I played a couple games as a player, then I ran my own campaign shortly after, never looking back.
My favorite system of all Time is
Masks: A New Generation is a swell little game by Magpie Games, PbtA. It’s about young superheroes balancing their lives with heroics. The mechanics marry social encounters and combat, they make your emotions and your confidence into stats, and rewards teamwork splendidly.
How Jeremy runs games
Improvisational, player character focused, strong roleplay, and theatrical, exciting combat.

I deal with rules issues by...
…remembering that this is just a game. We don’t need to simulate things perfectly, we don’t need to even be here at all, it’s just fun! So you make a judgement call that satisfies your player and moves the game forward, keep the fun flowing. You can sit there reading the rulebook in silence later.
If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
…Sam Raimi. His style ranges from horror and suspense, to comedy, to both, with action the whole way through. Films such as Spider-Man, Don’t Breathe, and The Evil Dead exemplify exactly the flavors, vibes and tropes I strive for.
My games focus on...
…the players! I don’t want to guide you through my own world, I want to guide you through yours. I don’t want to pull a BBEG out of my butt, I want them to pull their mask off to reveal someone you know, someone you thought you trusted. You won’t ever need a lore dump if we make the lore together!
Jeremy's ideal table
I like a table full of people who love to write long backstories, players who journal their adventures, improvisers and theater kids who know how to build on what’s present. I don’t hate grognards who like to do math and min-max either!

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
Mad scientists, fey beings, mummies, wormholes, merfolk, guns, mutations, alternate realities, the stars dancing when no one’s looking, mech suits, mad gods, dead gods, swords, eyes where there shouldn’t be eyes, rubble, ruin, robots, angels with clockwork hearts, and long walks on the beach
I love it when a player
wants to do something unique with their character, asks a crazy question that prompts a crazier discussion, or adds NPCs and locales to the setting. Everything you give me informs me of what to do to entertain and impress you, everything you add to the lore puts a piece of your soul in the game!
