About the adventure
Call of Cthulhu is a game of investigative horror. You will be taking the role of Investigators looking into mysteries that will eventually reveal dark cosmic truths about humanity's insignificance in the wake of the Old Ones. The cancerous nature of the Cthulhu Mythos will eventually consume the world as we know it, but you might be able to save a few lives and push the apocalypse back a few more years. These one-shots will be runs of previously published scenarios that I have collected over the years. They'll generally be focused in the "classic" era of the 1920s and 1930s, but the beauty of Call of Cthulhu is that the all of human history can contain a mystery that leads toward the Mythos. These adventures will be run using either the 7th edition of Call of Cthulhu or in its adaptation to the GUMSHOE system, Trail of Cthulhu. I'll pick a specific scenario for each listing and provide more specific details once you join the adventure.

My name is Ben and I've been GMing TTRPGs for over a decade now. I'm a regular cast member of Technical Difficulties Gaming Podcast (https://www.technicaldifficultiespod.com/). You can either pick from a list of pregens that'll have for the adventure. If you would like to make your own character, please let me know and share your character idea with the other players.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll just need a discord account. I'll send you an invite to my discord server along with a link to a google drive with the rules and pregens. I'll send a specific message with the details of the adventure when you sign up.

How Ben from TechDiff creates a safe table
I'll go over specific CWs unique to each scenario. We'll also go over lines and veils before we start. Cthulhu adventures will often be set in the past and so players might be confronted with more open prejudices like racism or sexism. I understand the full weight of these injustices in their past and current forms, so any such interactions will be veiled and I will not be saying any slurs.
