About the adventure

(body horror, LGBTQ+ friendly) The large, stone mausoleum looming over the town’s cemetery has long been a source of myth, many believing it to be the final resting place of an ancient mage of dark power. But, regardless of the rumors of magical treasure inside, it has been impenetrable and silent for centuries. A few days ago, it was broken open during the night. In the days since, a terrible smell has settled over the cemetery and townsfolk have begun to go missing. The mayor is seeking capable adventurers to enter the tomb and address the threat. (Horror Oneshot) WARNING! Includes body horror and gore Module made by Ginny Di *Will include homebrew creatures from the Tome of Beasts 3 by Kobold Press*

About me

Hello! My name's Willow (they/she). I am an avid worldbuilder, game master, artist, writer and dreamer always looking to help people bring their unique characters to life and immerse people in any game I run. I also LOVE to do silly and serious voices. Voice acting is a passion of mine. LGBTQ+ friendly. I put a huge emphasis on the safety and comfort of my players as well as communication. I have been roleplaying and storytelling since I was in highschool so even though I am newer to DND 5e, I know to weave a good story with fleshed out npcs. I have been gming for 3+ years now and I have loved it so much. I put an emphasis on rule of cool and use homebrew liberally especially when crafting unique monsters.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character Creation: -Characters will be Level 5 -Stats can be rolled or you can use a standard array -Standard 5e races preferred (if you have a homebrew race you want to try you have to run it by me first. If you have a character that is a custom race please have a standard back up race in case I do not approve the homebrew race). -A small little description of their backstory -Please select a plot hook from the three provided so I can more easily integrate your character. Plot hooks: • A plea for aid. The characters are stopped on the street by a desperate-looking messenger who appears road-weary and exhausted. The messenger has been sent from a neighboring town to bring back capable fighters to deal with the unknown dangers of the unlocked tomb (for a fee, of course.) • Just passing through. The characters are traveling through the town on their way elsewhere. When they pass the cemetery, they can’t help but notice the awful stench and the way the townsfolk avoid the area. If they try to enter the cemetery, a concerned citizen stops them, warning them of the danger. If they don’t investigate on their own, the mayor notices their weapons and asks for help. • Letter from a friend. One of the characters has a friend or family member who lives in the town. This person writes a letter asking for assistance, fearing for their safety and the safety of their family if the mysterious threat goes unchecked.
