Creating your character
Character will be created via messaging between the DM and the player before play is scheduled to start. Character sheets will be kept in a roll20 room that the player has access to, and the character sheet will be held in Discord DMs for easy reference. Anything published by WotC for D&D 5e is legal. Homebrew is allowed with review from the DM. Other build rules: Point Buy for stats Average HP upon level up Starting equipment, not gold Have an idea as to why your character lives in Waterdeep and cares about the city.

Preparing for the session
Play-by-Post games can be very different depending on who your DM is and how they run their games. I usually post 1-2 times a day. My posts are long and tend to try and push the story forward. You will need: a free discord account while you don't need a roll20 account, you may find it helpful to have one

How Ace A. creates a safe table
There is a Lines/Veils list readily available for players to reference. The discord has "X" cards to immediately stop a scene if something triggering occurs. I also have an open-door policy; if there are any issues, you can bring them right to me. I'll try to fix the issue and make the table more accommodating.
