About the adventure
If Baldur's Gate 3 made you fall in love with the world and want more — this campaign is built for you. Whether you're crossing from BG3 into tabletop for the first time or a seasoned D&D player ready for the hells, this table bridges both worlds without leaving anyone behind. We open with the Fall of Elturel — a city dragged into Avernus while its people scream — and the campaign never lets up from there. This is my own "Remix" of Descent into Avernus, rebuilt to make the Nine Hells feel genuinely dangerous, morally complex, and narratively alive. The tedium is cut. The tension stays. One mechanic defines this campaign above all others: inside the Hells, we use Gritty Realism resting. Every short rest is a full night. Every long rest is a week. Resources are precious, wounds linger, and every decision to push forward costs something real. Outside the Hells, normal resting returns — a breath of air before the descent continues. Custom maps built in Dungeon Alchemist bring every location to life, from the burning streets of Elturel to the war-scarred wastelands of Avernus itself. Hell is not a place you pass through. It's a place that changes you.

About me
I've been running D&D for 8 years — from chaotic homebrew one-shots to a full level 1–20 campaign that my players still talk about. My sessions combine tactical, meaningful combat with player-driven storytelling in worlds I've built from scratch. My journey started in 2015, inspired by actual-play content and Brazilian creators who shaped how I think about pacing, narrative, and table dynamics. I became a GM in 2018 and haven't stopped since — running multi-arc campaigns, developing homebrew settings, and constantly refining how I design encounters and structure stories. I adapt to the table in front of me: whether your group lives for tactical combat, deep roleplay, open-world exploration, or all three, I'll find the rhythm that works. My goal is simple — create sessions that feel cinematic, choices that feel real, and a campaign you'll still remember years from now. 🎲 Loyalty Discount: Bring a group of 4+ players, or stick around long enough — every 5th session is on me. That's a 20% discount built into every campaign, including Session Zero. Message me on Discord (nunohfa) to get started.

Creating your character
Characters start at Level 1. We'll use D&D 5e rules (2014 or 2024 — both work fine). I'll host a character creation session on Foundry the week before Session 1, with Discord support available daily. Ability scores use Standard Array by default; if you prefer rolling, we'll handle it together at Session 1. All official 5e books are allowed. Want to use UA or third-party content (Kobold Press, Pointy Hat, etc.)? - Just message me first and we'll work it out.
Bringing a group of 4 or more players? Message me on Discord (nunohfa) and I'll set up a group discount. Play 4 sessions together, get the 5th free.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please have access to: Discord Web Browser (to Use Foundry) You will be needed to join a Server in common with me so you could login at the VTT, more info about it I can send via Discord. (Since I'm from Brazil is not that simple)
What Nuno Andrade brings to the table
✦ Foundry VTT hosted game with custom maps and tokens ✦ NPC voice acting (as much as my skills allow!) ✦ Player-driven story — you set the tone, I follow your lead ✦ Tactical, descriptive combat with creative rulings encouraged ✦ Post-session feedback: time to improve the experience together
Homebrew rules
If you are in doubt on how combat works just expect the combat to go just like in Baldur's Gate 3. If you already know how to play Dnd 5e don't stress about it, Bg3 is only a reference for those unaware of 5e. For the actual homebrew: Potions are BA, we don't check cover, flanking does not exist (unless all the players agree to it), Crafting follows a table of my own and it simply is done by downtime while Long Resting. This adventure will use Gritty Rest during the Avernus part of it, else we use the Normal Resting.

How Nuno Andrade creates a safe table
During character creation, or the beginning of session one we will address what themes and descriptions the players are comfortable with. And after each session we will have feedback time, these are meant to be constructive and induce a "Design Critique" formula where we, as a group, need to improve to achive peak fun.
