About the adventure
The Adventurers' Guild is looking for new recruits. . . . In this mini campaign, you start off as a simple recruit, looking for adventure. But as you progress session to session, you'll find that the life of an adventurer is full of peril and danger. Do you have what it takes? With clear objectives and individually themed scenarios, each session is tailored to a specific level starting at level 1 and progressing to level 5. You'll encounter goblins, fey creatures, maybe even a dragon. . . . Come explore what Daggerheart has to offer, where collaboration is celebrated. All are welcome at my table, where I aim to provide you, the player, a chance to escape and let your imagination run wild!

Meet the Game Master
About me
I'm Chap, the Dungeon Master Dad. And yes, I am truly a dad and I love running adventures for players of all skill levels. My number one rule is: TTRPGs are a safe space. This is a place where you can be whoever you want and explore your imagination. There is no room for hate or discrimination at my table. I want my players to experience joy, freedom, laughter, and acceptance. As for my experience, I'm just starting out as a professional GM, but I've been running games for friends for more than three years. I'm most familiar with D&D 5e and 5e 2024, but I've also started to learn Daggerheart. My games are highly inspired by my love of fantasy, comics, science fiction, and Critical Role, as well as my time growing up in the 80s and 90s and my Filipino-American heritage. Having worked in book publishing and film, developing stories and rich characters is probably my deepest passion. And I love taking the characters and backstories my players create and working together to weave a fun, emotional, and thrilling tale. If all this seems cool with you then let's play.

Creating your character
I have premade characters to choose from or players can build characters before or at session 0. We'll be starting at level 1 and only using Core Book classes.
You can make your own character or use one of the Pre-gen characters below: Marlowe Fairwind, the Loreborne Elf Sorcerer She appears calm, until she isn’t. Barnacle, the Underborne Ribbet Rogue There is no danger he will not get into, and no situation he cannot get out of. He fears water and will not swim. Garrick Reed, the Highborne Human Warrior A defector from a distant military force, he approaches most conflict with a “kill ‘em with kindness” attitude. Khari Nix, the Ridgeborne Giant Guardian Loyal to the end, with a dry sense of humor, she will suffer no fools. Khari was practically born with an axe in her hand. Varian Soto, the Wildborne Katari Ranger They take a “shoot first, ask questions later” approach. Any problem that can’t be solved with a bow, isn’t a problem yet.
