About the adventure

This year the forest fires have started early, and the fey folk scramble to organize their Procession. Called to the forest by the promise of gold and allyship, you arrive to a great disorder of fey creatures. Some delegates have demands that must be met before they'll join the Procession. And a few troublemakers, who happily interfere. About the Game This is a single session (one-shot). 3 hour session hosted on Roll20. Audio on Discord. New 2024 D&D 5e rules and characters. Experienced and intermediate 5e players welcome. 2024 rules taught as we go. Character sourcebooks: 2024 Player's Handbook, new Forgotten Realms Heroes of Faerun, new Forge of the Artificer races and classes.

About me

Ajax DM is a full-time professional DM with 54 completed multi-year campaigns, over 3,000 sessions (in-person and online) - including 1,800+ on StartPlaying - and 11,000+ hours on Roll20 (since March, 2020). Ajax DM offers paid weekly games you can count on. Weekly 3-hour D&D 5e game sessions on Roll20 or Alchemy RPG, using official D&D 5e campaign materials supplemented with additional colour maps, extra tokens to choose from, 3D dice rolling, Dynamic Lighting (revealing maps as you explore), scripts to automate manual tasks, sourcebook/compendium sharing. We use Discord for audio and each group gets its own channels to talk between games. New or experienced players and those just coming back to D&D, learning 5th Edition rules, or the newer 5.5 Edition rules are welcome. You’ll learn as you play. Ajax DM was honored to be selected to DM at Gen Con 2024 independently as Ajax DM, and with Limithron (Pirate Borg) in 2024, to DM for StartPlaying at Gen Con in 2023, for Kobold Press at Gen Con both 2022 and 2023, and as one of a handful of Dungeon Masters for Kobold Chronicles, Kobold Press’ monthly virtual play event.

What Allison - Ajax DM brings to the table

Ajax DM uses official D&D 5e campaign materials supplemented with additional maps, 3D dice rolling, Dynamic Lighting (revealing maps as you explore), scripts to automate manual tasks, purchased tokens, sourcebook/compendium sharing in Roll20. We use Discord for audio and each group gets its own channels to talk between games.

Homebrew rules

At my table, fire spells don't work in water. Flanking is allowed for advantage. You can drop a weapon and pull out another weapon without using an action (normally two object interactions are an action). An overt offensive action by either a friend or foe will prompt rolling for initiative.
