About the adventure
๐ช Explore a magical carnival full of mini-games and mystery! ๐ธ Fall into the Feywild and traverse splashy swamps, firefly forests, and midnight mountain ranges through a hexcrawl adventure! ๐ง Fight your way through terrors to an enchanted castle to find and free your fairy godmother! The Witchlight Carnival is a traveling spectacle that appears once every eight years, and it has returned at last! You may recall sneaking in as a child without a ticket; a night filled with wonder but marked by the loss of something precious. Though the memory faded and the carnival's staff offered no help, the sense of loss never fully left you. Now, that forgotten longing stirs again. Just today, a faerie dragon delivered an invitation to tea with a warlock, promising details about a mysterious job. The meeting is set for tomorrow, but something about the timing (and the sudden reappearance of the carnival) feels too perfectly aligned to be mere coincidence. โจ What will you find in the wild beyond the Witchlight?

Creating your character
Do not bring a finished character to Session Zero. Bring 3 loose ideas and a willingness to change them, if needed. Character hooks for this campaign have been specifically designed to create a unified party with players directly tied to the events of the campaign. During Session Zero, we will discuss as a group who everyone wants to play, and nail down who your character is first. Then you will be granted access to the VTT and a character sheet for you to begin making your character mechanically. You will have up until your first play session to finish your character sheet. Mechanically, characters can be made using content from the 5.5e Players Handbook, Heroes of Faerรปn, and Avantris Entertainmentโs The Crooked Moon (subclasses, spells, and feats only).
