About the adventure
Calling all Dragon Age fans! This campaign is set during the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition just after the destruction of Haven. It's up to you to rebuild at Skyhold and complete objectives for Cullen, Leliana, and Josephine to strengthen the Inquisition. Your party will consist of individuals with different reasons for joining the Inquisition. No one will play as the Inquisitor, but you might be able to meet some of their inner circle hanging around Skyhold! This game will be roleplay-heavy with difficult foes, so players with previous D&D/TTRPG experience are preferred.

About me
Hello! My name is Julia, and I've been a Game Master since 2022. My favorite genre of TTRPGs to play are generally Sci-Fi, strategy, and survival, although I can have fun playing almost anything! Along with running home games with friends, I frequently volunteer to GM at my local game store, so I have experience adjusting to groups or individuals with different dynamics and expectations. *FYI* I am very flexible with game days/times, so if one of my posted games does not fit with your group's schedule, please message me!

Creating your character
We will create our characters during a free Session 0. I have some homebrew species, classes, and backgrounds to choose from: Species - Human, City Elf, Dalish Elf, Dwarf, Qunari Classes - Warrior (Berserker, Champion, Reaver, Templar) Rogue (Artificer, Assassin, Bard, Ranger, Tempest) Mage (Arcane Warrior, Blood Mage, Keeper, Necromancer, Rift Mage, Spirit Healer) Background- Grey Warden (All other PHB backgrounds are fine) All PCs will be level 5. You can create the character sheet in Foundry, DnD Beyond, or use a physical character sheet. I have a full Google Doc with the specifics for each species/class that I'll share once we start the campaign.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure you have a Discord account and general knowledge of Dragon Age lore!
What Julia brings to the table
My games usually follow the Rule of Cool to allow players to get creative with their abilities. I also try to foster an environment where players are encouraged to roleplay with one another. I always provide ambient music to help players feel immersed in the world!
Homebrew rules
I have a list of homebrew species, classes, and backgrounds available (see the Character Creation section for more details). We'll also be using a Critical Injuries mechanic similar to Dragon Age: Origins. If you come back up from being unconcious, you'll roll on the Critical Injury table and receive a penalty. These injuries can stack.

How Julia creates a safe table
I want to make sure all players feel safe during our sessions. Players will be sent a Lines and Veils document prior to Session 0 so I can have a better understanding of what topics to avoid. Session 0 is also where we'll discuss our wishes for the campaign and any questions/concerns on the players' end.
