About the adventure
Step onto the drifting sands of Arrakis, where the God Emperor’s gaze shapes every alliance, every betrayal, and every ambition. ⚠️ This is a homebrew campaign set in a unique timeframe - 99 years after Leto II’s ascension - a period that is largely unexplored in the original lore. I have approached this setting with care and research to respect the established canon, but players may encounter some subtle differences from what they expect. In this era, Arrakis undergoes dramatic changes. The God Emperor’s terraforming reshapes the desert into a sprawling, verdant landscape, threatening the survival of the sandworms and altering the delicate balance of spice production. Amid this upheaval, political intrigue simmers as weakened Royal Houses, secretive factions, and ambitious players vie for power. ⚔️ Your mission: found and grow your own Royal House, navigating a web of alliances, rivalries and betrayals, all under the ever-watchful eye of the God Emperor. Prepare to forge alliances, manipulate rivals, uncover hidden plots and assert your House’s influence in a universe where power is everything and the sands of Arrakis are ever-shifting.

Have an account on Roll20 and Discord. You will be provided with all the materials you need before the game but we will run over them all in session 0.
What Max @Tavern Wonder Games brings to the table
Expect rich narration and ambient soundscapes that support the political intrigue of the setting. I prioritize clarity, pacing and emotional stakes over strict rules enforcement.
Homebrew rules
📜 We will be using an adjusted and simplified rules system, that is no different of the original 2d20 system, to streamline gameplay, emphasizing story, character development and the tense, epic political landscape over complex mechanics. You’ll receive a four-page setting primer and my personal touch in the form of personalized quests designed to advance your character’s goals - even if they sometimes diverge from your House’s interests.
