About the adventure

The map is empty. What can you build… or seize …. before someone else takes it from you? Building from West Marches and taking inspiration from some of the elements of Xen'Drik, a hybrid campaign. Depending up on your location - either IRL; or online the world of Eberron's high fantasy and Great Houses, meets the ad hoc and flexible party composition of West Marches. A new continent. Unmapped land, undocumented dangers, unclaimed Shards, or something ... else?

Creating your character
Point Buy or Standard Array. Players are welcome to message regarding Non-Standard Classes Feats are being used; use of narrative Friction elements in a Player's backgrounds are not needed in this campaign; subplots will arise from Settlement and Factions.
Currently one settlement includes: Druids (2) Barbarian Fighter Bard (4) Illrigger Wizard (2) Paladin (3) Level 3 & 4
What to expect
Preparing for the session
While not "required"; joining the MWG Discord server and the Foundry account and your Character (Actor). Additionally, if you are a newer player we should schedule a session Zero to discuss mechanics, the FoundryVTT platform.
What Modnar Wylde brings to the table
Wiki; FoundryVTT; Discord w/ interactive "downtime" inn and shared resources will be provided. Player's Handbook 2014; Eberron Rising from the Last War Morgrave Miscellany Chronicles of Eberron Exploring Eberron; For reference and lore purposes some additional resources can be provided upon request.
Homebrew rules
Depending upon player requests; some additional subclasses, classes are likely to be present. Additionally; some spells have some alterations (Example; Lights and Dancing Lights have been combined into a single spell; as has Jump and Expedious Retreat; Cure Wounds has been similarly to include Healing Word or Cure Wounds depending upon Action economy choice. West Marches rules; Item Crafting; Settlement Development based off 4x game mechanics (Explore; Expand; Exploit (mine/harvest) and Exterminate) are additional elements as are some.

How Modnar Wylde creates a safe table
An onboarding questionnaire and anonymous requests method are provided before a session zero. We'll be taking occasional breaks and doing additional feedback loops - real time and out of session; including a wish list and want list.
