About the adventure
The city and all of the Sword's Coast has made safe from the absolute. The hero of the gate, Tav, once the slave of his father Bhaal is settling down with a member of his party and is working with Grand Duke Ravenguard to bring things back to normal in place of the duke's son who went back to being The Blade of Frontiers with his friend in the hells. Something is happening though, suddenly there has been a rush of refugees from the east and there are rumors a city has gone missing?! What the hells does that mean? --------------------------------------------------------------- Hi all! And thanks for taking a look at this game! I have run Descent into Avernus several times now, and one thing i have realised is that the titular location, Baldurs Gate, has been fairly abandoned in this module when run as written. Substitue Baldurs Gate with really any other city either on the swords coast or in a homebrew setting and really the adventure stays the same which is a shame because the city is a fantastic location for adventure! With the recent fantastic game, Baldur's Gate 3, I have decided to rewrite the beginning of the adventure slightly, as well as mess with the cannon cronology a little to make this start a little more interesting as well as include things from the fantastic game. In the official cronology of the coast, Baldur's Gate 3 takes place almost immediatly after the "good" ending of Descent into Avernus dnd adventure. The tiefling refugees that you save at the start of the game is because the city is back from avernus and decided they wanted to kick out anything or anyone who reminded them of hell. In this adjustment, that didnt happen or at least not in that way to allow for the story to feel a little more realistic. Once you get to Avernus, this will be a very mad max style adventure in hell! We will also be using some special rules for the vehicles designed and implemented into foundry VTT by me!

Creating your character
Character creation will be in a session 0. Anything from the core rules is fine, no flying races, no Changeling. Anything homebrew will need to be ok'd by me.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need to join my discord and I will be making a foundry VTT game for this adventure. Its also highly advised that you have completed Baldur's Gate 3 or at least know the ending.
What Jen brings to the table
I am very much a rule of cool DM! I will be using music and try and use as much backstory as you give me! I try my best to do voices where I can though I dont pretend to be a voice actor of any kind!
Homebrew rules
Once we get to Avernus and use the infernal Engines, we will be using a modified vehicle ruleset created by me.
