About the adventure
This campaign will use the Indie TTRPG system of Vault and Deathclaws, otherwise known as Fallout Pnp 4.0. This system much more closely recreates the system used in the original 2D Fallout systems compared to other Fallout systems. I have taught this system several times before to other players so don't be afraid if the system is new to you! With large community effort there are a wide array of player options to allow to create whatever character you dream of. In this campaign you will explore my homebrew setting of the Emerald City, a post apocalyptic Seattle, Washington that takes great inspiration from Fallout: New Vegas. If you love the player agency, diverse factions, and characters from all different walks of life then you will be right at home here. Many factions will be at play, from the New California Republic, to the Brotherhood of Steel, to new factions like Murdoch Enterprises and The Baron's Castle. Player agency is a top priority of this campaign, and who you decide to side with will have rippling effects throughout the campaign.

About me
Hello Everyone! My name is Tyler and I am a huge fan of RPGs, both tabletop and video games. I've been playing and GMing TTRPGs for 10 years now. I've played and GM for a wide variety of systems including D&D 5e, Mass Effect 5e, Pokémon Tabletop Adventures, OVA, Mutants and Masterminds, Fallout: Vaults and Deathclaws, Naruto and more! I draw a lot of inspiration from games like Mass Effect, Fallout: New Vegas, The Witcher, and countless others. I tend to run my games with an emphasis on deep narrative and engaging roleplay. I often run mysteries with webs that run wide and connect in many unexpected ways. Taking from my theater experience I also give my NPCs distinguished voices to further add to the flavor and life into my characters and world (Hope you enjoy accents as much as I do). Tactical combat is also a focus for me, crafting challenges beyond high CR and more monsters is important to me. Environmental hazards or additional objectives to make combat feel more dynamic is a must for me. Hopefully my interests and GMing values resonate with, all I have left for you is one final question. How do you want to do this?

Creating your character
Character Creation will be made during a free Session 0 or any other time we are able to schedule together. I have a collection of resources designed to make learning the rules and how to build a character as smooth as possible. We will be starting at Level 1 for the full experience as we would have playing a normal Fallout title. No outside materials necessary, I will provide copies of everything.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using Discord for Voice Chat and Roll20 as a visualizer and board for combat and exploration
What Tyler brings to the table
With a background in theater I utilize every skill in my performance toolkit to enhance the immersion of my worlds. I do my best to give each character a unique voice that displays their personality in a way that goes beyond just the words. I also plan out robust combat encounters to challenge the player. My goal as a DM is never defeat the players, but to force you into using all of your cool abilities in order to win! I also offer a balance between Sandbox and structured narrative so players can decide how they want to engage in the plot or roleplay in the world however they wish

How Tyler creates a safe table
During session 0 or sometime before play each player will have an opportunity to set up their Lines and Veils, and it will be anonymously shared with other players. The Lines and Veils will establish the hard and soft boundaries people have against certain content. Furthermore session 0 is a space for any player concerns to be raised and addressed, and an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with each other and align our goals as a table.
