About the adventure
Iconic one shot, that I ran before. Great introduction to Call of Cthulhu. A must play. I remix things a bit for extra roleplay opportunity if the party "has the juices". Not your standard 2-3 hours one shot. Will take 4 hours with a hard stop at 4h30. The players are part of a National Geographic team. Going to photograph the marine life of a remote part of the New England coast. Then things don't go as planned. Will you survive the night?

Creating your character
Pregens are provided, first come first served. Dr. Margaret Sinclair – Serious, ambitious Marine Biologist. Murphy (Murfin Llandeg) – A tough Welsh-American fixer chasing easy money Jonas O’Neill – A steady, working-class Irish-American seaman with quiet pride. Balthazar Sedge – Eccentric, posh artist with an already frayed edge. Andrew Foster – A thoughtful writer with an antiquarian streak and a love of quotes. All can be gender swapped.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Decent mic with push to talk, no echo. We will use Owl Bear Rodeo for maps (is free, better you open a free account but not strictly needed). The rolls will be done on discord. You can post memes and type in the discord chat. Read your handout (1 page) and have a think about how to have interesting RP. Printing your character sheet or displaying it on a separate screen is strongly recommended.
What Morbleue brings to the table
- I have been running games for the last 3 decades. Mostly face to face but run games online since lock-down. I could charge more but choose not to. I still see this as a hobby, the contribution helps me buy resources to provide a good quality game and play at other GMs tables online. - I do some character voices and noises. I try and set the mood and have some historical accuracy. The stance on nationalities, gender and races are modern.
