About the adventure
Death has been broken. Across the world, the dead no longer stay dead, the dying cannot be restored, and every resurrection ever worked is beginning to unravel beneath the grip of a terrible curse. Far to the south, beyond the safety of the familiar world, the source of this slow apocalypse festers in the deadly jungles of Chult: a land of ancient ruins, forgotten gods, ravenous dinosaurs, cursed tombs, and a history older and darker than most dare imagine. To survive here, you will have to do more than fight monsters. You will have to endure the jungle itself. Disease, exhaustion, starvation, thirst, venom, madness, and the simple act of getting lost can kill just as surely as any blade or spell. Every step forward is a gamble, every ruined shrine may hide treasure or doom, and somewhere beneath it all waits a tomb built not merely to kill intruders, but to annihilate them. Can you outlast the jungle, uncover the secret of the Death Curse, and face the ancient horror feeding on the souls of the world from within... TOMB OF ANNIHILATION!? --- This is a Survival/Horror adventure with deadly exploration, resource management, trap-filled dungeons, and brutal consequences for bad decisions. Food, water, navigation, disease, and environmental hazards will matter. Expect a high-lethality game where the jungle wants you dead, the tomb is worse, and caution is often more valuable than courage.

About me
I have been playing & DMing since the old THAC0 days. After Covid I started giving the online thing a try and found a new passion in developing online role-playing experiences. I am a disabled veteran who is spending his free time game building.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
A mic is required for in game chat, but video is not required. Discord is used for Voice Chat and party management. Link is available on my Discord User Profile. Foundry VTT runs through your web browser, including touch screen devices (no installation required) however, it can perform poorly, or not at all on older devices. I try to be very descriptive with a "theater of the mind" style, so technology issues may be an obstacle but not an exclusion. Be familiar with all of your character's abilities/spells etc.
What DM Dave brings to the table

How DM Dave creates a safe table
Players can expect an open door policy to safely address any specific traumas or triggers. I have experience with PTSD as a veteran and want to accommodate best I can while preserving the integrity and comfortability of the gaming experience for everyone. **Note: this is a Survival/Horror game. Players with triggers related to starvation, dehydration, or mental health might find one of my other games more appropriate. I usually try to blend RP and combat as equally as I can. I anticipate most sessions will have at least one combat.
