About the adventure
High in the mountains, the Stormcaller's Tower stands defiant among the black thunderheads that rush overhead. A forest of iron spikes jut from the tower's top, drawing down burning spears of lightning from the sky. Here the most fearless and devoted followers of the Storm God serve, meting out their lord's fury upon his enemies and the unfaithful. As you make your way to Sunnyside Grove, you notice the air grows colder and the terrain more rugged, indicating the proximity to the mountains where the Stormcaller's Tower resides. The locals seem anxious, and you can hear whispers of fear and despair as you enter the village. In the center of the village, you come across a gathering of concerned villagers. They appear to be discussing the Stormcaller's Tower and its ongoing threat. Among them is Captain Ivan, a sturdy-looking man with weathered features. He wears a uniform bearing the emblem of the local militia. Approaching him, you introduce yourself and express your interest in learning more about the tower and the call for adventurers. Captain Ivan nods and speaks determinedly, "Welcome, traveler. I'm Captain Ivan, leader of the Sunnyside Grove militia. The Stormcaller's Tower has been a blight upon our land for far too long. It is a stronghold of the Storm God's followers, who use its powers to unleash devastation upon anyone they perceive as enemies or lacking faith." He pauses momentarily, surveying the surrounding villagers, who listen intently. "We've lost many lives and seen entire villages razed to the ground by their lightning strikes. The Stormcaller's followers are a fanatic group, zealous in their devotion to the Storm God. We've attempted to assault the tower before, but their defenses and control over the storms make it nearly impossible to breach." "We believe that by toppling the Stormcaller's Tower, we can end their reign of terror. It won't be an easy task, but we're offering a substantial reward to brave adventurers who can succeed where we have failed. The specifics of the reward can be discussed further once you're ready to undertake this dangerous mission," Captain Ivan explains. He looks at you with a glimmer of hope in his eyes. "Are you willing to take up this challenge and rid our lands of this menacing tower?"

About me
Hi! We are Peach (Keeli Rae) and Grim (John), a married couple of DMs/GMs passionate about TTRPGs. Grim has been a DM for 24 years and has run Dungeons and Dragons from First to Fifth editions, Pathfinder 1st and 2nd editions, Vampire the Masquerade/World of Darkness, Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk Red, and Aliens. Peach has been playing for about five years and running games for over a year. She mainly runs DND 5E. We can run Warhammer 40K for Glory Fantasy and Kids on Broomsticks. What should you know about us? We take time and care to prep for each session. We will customize each adventure with stories and plots to make our players' experience one of a kind. Do you like fantasy? Other worlds? History? Fan-Fiction? Heists? We got you. What about horror? That's Grim's Favorite! If you've got an idea, we can help it come to life to be played through. We are also happy to assist players in developing backstories for their characters throughout a campaign and will create custom quests based on those backstories. We love working with players of all levels, from the brand-new to the more experienced. We are also LGBTQIA+ friendly. Come hang out with us as we travel through worlds and adventures!

What to expect
Preparing for the session
just need discord and mic as this is how I communicate mostly. Please create characters ahead of time so there is a chance to go over it and it does not cut into playtime. Characters can be made via D&D beyond or the Charactermancer in Roll20. I also have a selection of pre-generated characters made if players wish to just jump right in or have a tough time making characters.
